I knew Jimmy and 99% of this crap being posted is bull shit people jumping on the band wagon I worked in Leeds at the LGI but I knew Jimmy as a child when I would sit for hours talking to him on the front steps of his mum's house on consort terrace Leeds. I used to love his show on Sundays going back to the 50s and 60s music. I called the press office at Leeds general infirmary after watching a porter doing his bit for 5 minutes of fame. When I was a kid in the 70's, the Yorkshire Ripper was a huge story. One day I read that Saville had been questioned by the police twice. Even as a kid that really struck me as being very odd because at the time Saville was a huge star. Nothing more was made of it but you had to ask why did they question him? Twice?

West Yorkshire Police are notoriously corrupt. Saviles long term influence could even have led to their negligent handling of the child sex abuse cases throughout West Yorkshire since the 21st century. The high profile Rotherham cases in 2014 again only came to light after Saviles death. But he was alive and well for a good 11 years this century. He would probably have known some of what was going on there. The Police were already ‘groomed’ by Savile for decades to bypass any Paedo cases just in case Savile was involved. The shit could run deep and deeper.
