Does the tank come with a dipper?
باتشکراز یوتیوب واین دوست عزیز،خیلی خوب بود،لطف کنید درمو رد چسب زیر امولسیون(پایه) هم بفرمایید، فدا.
This is now an old video and the Intrepid camera has been updated quite signifiantly. Intrepid have listened to reveiwers comments....
Tank you,
I've been using Zebra glass plates since the beginning and have loved the quality of the plates, and the final result is amazing.
Thank you for the kind words I personally put a lot of effort and dedication into hand making them!
@lostlightart6064 Is it possible to get white glass instead of regular glass?
Will do ❤
Thank you 🤗
Keeping a Skill Alive for Future Photographers 👍
🙏❤️
🤓Фотографии супер!!! 👍
Thank you
I have a speed graphic graphex 4x5 and I was wondering if your 4x5 wet plate holder will work with my camera?
Hey. If it has a classical spring back they yes. But if it has graflock back with groves on the sides then no (we are working on making such style available as well)
Great design and video was well done.
Thanks :)
Nice, and how do you make your dry plate negatives? Thks
How long does it take for the emulsion to soften inside the pot, in hot water, how many degrees does the water have to be?
Wonderfull!
Thank you!
Good job. I'm interested in learning about wet plates, can you make a tutorial on how to make the chemical. Thank you
I have to do that right! On my to do list :)
Excellent. I am just getting into wet plate. I have a 4x5 graphex now and wanting to build an 11x14. Looking forward to getting into this and enjoying myself.
That is great. I am happy to see there are so many photographerd out there helping to keep this craft alive!
Omg I have a gorgeous 8x10 from the late 1800s in impossibly good condition, but it predates film holder size standardization. Are you able to print all kinds of custom film holder sizes?
You can order custom holder on his website
Yes please send an email over to zebradryplates@gmail.com
@@jakobkatrasnik8684 Ah amazing thank you!
I bought the 12x12 Primer camera from zebra and the 12x12 wetplateholder. It works perfect and it is all I need
That is awesome!
This is great.
Thank you!
YES!!!!!
Thanks :)
Hi! Discovering your channel here. Thanks for the tips! Question: is this place in Bulgaria? I thought I've visited this locations with the wheel, at the Etar village ❤ lived in BG for 2 years now back to France. Cheers
You are welcome. This is in Slovenia :)
@ thanks !
Can I use it to print from film? And can it be used as an image capture medium in a pinhole camera?
Contact print film yes but use it in the pinhole camera no as the exposure would take forever!
@lostlightart6064 ok. Thank you sir
👏😄💯🤓👍
🙏
Fantastic 🎉 Just ordered a complete 4x5 kit. Congratulations and good luck!
Thank you soo much!
you mention open source...but i see no link to the source
Not yet as soon as the kickstarter is finished and product finalised open source parts will be released ;)
😱
:)
"... a freaking submarine ..." I spilled my coffee over my keyboard 🤣 I have seen the quality of your products, no doubt this one is in the same vein Great job Nejc 👍
Haha thank you!
Would this tank develop sheet Film?
Not trying to steer anyone away from this great wet plate tank, but you'd be better served by using a dedicated sheet film tank like the Stearman SP 455 or 645. You didn't mention the size of sheet film, but the above are for 4x5 and (if slightly modified) 9X12cm film. They also make an 8x10 tank. You really wouldn't want to alternate between wet plate and film anyway, due to possible contamination concerns.
I just bought an Opemus 4. What is the difference between? I see a lot if info about the 3 model but not the 4. Any thoughts?
beautiful shot. do you use a regular red led strip in your darkroom ?
All of your work is amazing! Thank you for sharing all that Stuff. Keep it up! :)
8577 Jerde Ranch
Very cool. What is the fixer (fixative) solution?
Fantastic job!
Thank you very much :)
If there would be a double button "LIKE", I would have pressed it twice :) Great work!
Thank you!
Received my 11x14 wet-plate holder a few weeks ago. It is by far the finest piece of equipment for the process. The magnetized application, plus the lighter weight, makes it a joy to use. I have plans for my next one from Zebra...a 12x20 for landscapes....and thanks again for the superb and rapid service.
Fantastic! You have my dream job! Makes me want to try my hand at doing something like this in my country
Glad you liked it :)
Tip for anyone doing this on a smaller scale (15 ish at a time): I found a small fridge is adequately lightproof for drying plates; ventilation isn't so good as this though of course. Just make sure it's unplugged when you open the door.
I would think that adding fans for ventilation and even a PID controlled heating element wouldn't be crazy complex if you are somewhat handy and know a bit about wiring/electronics
W😱W👍
:)
awesome
Thank you Chris!
great job dear
So, no subbing of plates with gelatin? How do you get such good flow and adhesion? The times I did not sub, the emulsion didn't flow on the plate very well and sometimes would lift off in the wash. I'd love to avoid that extra step. I use repurposed glass but clean them really well. What temp is the emulsion when you pour? Do you pre-heat the plates? Perhaps I'm not letting the plates cure long enough? How long do you leave them in the dryer @ 21 degrees ?
This is just amazing. Really regret selling my 9x12 camera, hmmmm....
Just ordered the 8x10, looking forward to using a holder that works well!
Thank you Rick!
Well thought out filming Njec, really shows the effort you go to.Bravo
Thank you :)
Thank you!
You are welcome :)
Amazing, well done!! Very impressed with your plates, have tried the glass and tin types and both are great quality and easy to use!
Oh that is so nice to hear. Thank you :)
awesome video, you grow a lot from the first one, great activity ;)
Thanks
So, the emulsion is orthochromatic, when you do all the work under red light?
It is not even ortho it is only blue and UV sensitive ;)
i suggest you show more results of the work in your long videos to not turn people off who will get bored watching a red light for 10minutes.
