Fishing 30 miles out of Sikes Cut SGI/Apalachicola to catch our 3 person limit of red snapper. We had a great day on our World Cat 266sc.
Piscifun Kraken vs Gag Grouper
มุมมอง 512 หลายเดือนก่อน
This was my first test with my new Kraken reel. First catch was a nice sized gag, which was no match for the powerful Kraken. It wasn’t gag season so this one was safely released. However, we did end up with a 5 man limit of red snapper. The action was fast and this was the only video I was able to capture. I only had my phone and no action cameras onboard.
Potensic Atom SE Circle Flight

This was my first time performing the circle flight and over water. I’m getting more comfortable with it.
Potensic Atom SE
มุมมอง 293 หลายเดือนก่อน
My first experience ever flying a drone. In my opinion the Potensic Atom Se is the perfect beginner drone. It’s affordable and is packed with quality and features. At $249 plus a $15 coupon how can you beat it? amzn.to/3Suix8I
Piscifun Kraken Electric Reel Calibration

Here is a better and easier to understand video. Piscifun Kraken setup and first offshore test th-cam.com/video/U4O7rpbfFCQ/w-d-xo.html A quick tutorial on how to setup the Piscifun Kraken Electric reel. I know it’s not a high quality well edited video, but I hope it may answer some questions others may have trying to set their new Kraken reel up.
Offshore Fishing out of Carrabelle, Florida 11/16/2021
มุมมอง 3K2 ปีที่แล้ว
Took a quick trip out of Carrabelle, FL looking for gags. Had GoPro troubles and captured what I could with my iPhone and a Snoppa Atom. I lost footage in the beginning not knowing the GoPro was not working and at the end because my iPhone storage was full. It was a great day of fishing though. Plenty of red snapper in 63’
thanks so much, a huge help
Glad it helped!
Great tutorial. Way better than the manual. Thanks!
Glad it helped!
fantastic catch! what did you use for bait?
Cigar minnows for that day. I usually use LYs aka menhaden. Bonta strips, if I can catch one, are the best.
Hey Captain Tony, great set up video of the Kraken! We would like to use this on our website, is that okay?
I know the quality isn’t good. But you’re welcome to use it. I’m guessing your USA clients are able to understand it.
@@capt.tonydupree the visual demonstration combined with the direction was great. 👍
I actually did two of them. You’re welcome to use either one. Piscifun Kraken setup and first offshore test th-cam.com/video/U4O7rpbfFCQ/w-d-xo.html
@@Piscifun Send me a new one, and I will be happy to do a professional style video demonstrating how all the buttons work from unboxing to actually spooling it with line.
Smooth smooth flight, nice video.
Thanks Bull. I’ve started watching some of your videos. It’s truly an art and you’re very talented my friend. Flying the drone is only a small part of creating a wonderful video.
@@capt.tonydupree You are a great man from all over the world. Thank you for your comment. I respect him.
You need some help?? Lol😂
Heck yeah airborne..
You bought a drone well. Fly with confidence and on your terms. Distance, height. Only the RTH- return height when the drone automatically returns due to low battery or signal loss should be set to 196ft or 60m. So that the drone does not crash on trees during automatic return.
Thanks for the advice.. I’m definitely getting more confident and comfortable with it. I took it and done a circle flight over the East Bay the other day.
@@capt.tonydupree The drone is reliable and don't be afraid to fly. It would be advisable to always stay at a minimum height of 131ft. It is good to fly in open space, where the drone can be in signal and at a distance of 16400ft. Stay at least 2m high above the water, if you fly lower, the drone will then sink up and down at a height. In general, flying over water further than 2km (6500ft) is not advisable. Because if there is wind that the drone would fight, it might not be enough to return the energy in the battery. Better to fly over land. Enjoy the drone and don't be afraid to fly, the drone will always wait for your commands. It calculates the battery power in flight and then automatically returns the drone to your feet and lands. Also, if the signal is lost, it will return home on its own without your control. Enjoy the drone. You bought well. Greetings from the city of Pilsen in the Czech Republic -Europe
thank you again for more valuable advice. I have a offshore deep sea fishing boat, and I plan to use it in the open ocean at times for aerial video of us catching fish, this the reason I bought a less expensive drone. I’m very happy with the purchase and plan to keep learning.
Recently got an Atom SE with 2 batteries and the case on Ebay from Potensic's store...'refurbished' for $150! I've owned MANY toy grade drones (in the $30 range) over several years and had lots of fun buzzing them around within eyesight/close by. My Atom SE has amazed me (as my first 'serious' drone) with its range, ease of use (the software and controller setup), it's 'safety' features (gps, return to home, etc.) and battery life! I went from flying around for about 8 minutes, MAYBE 480p pics and a hundred feet to almost a half hour, 4k, and well over a mile away! I'm happy with it but hope to (maybe in a year?) upgrade to the Atom 3 axis. 😀
That is an incredible price! Being my first drone, I feel like, I made a good choice even at $235. I will still cry if I have an accidental water landing, but not quite as hard if I had spent the money for a DJI.. 😂
Thanks That manual was driving me nuts.
Glad it helped. I did another one that I felt was a little better, and I was able to test the reel. Piscifun Kraken setup and first offshore test th-cam.com/video/U4O7rpbfFCQ/w-d-xo.html
Thanks for this! I couldn't figure out the line weight setup at all.👍🏾
Glad it helped.
Thank you for this! Super easy to follow 👊
Glad it was helpful!
Thank you! You made my life way easier!
Glad I could help! I’m glad you could make sense of the video. I felt like I was as confusing as the instruction manual.
@@capt.tonydupree You made perfect sense! Now I need to get the reel wet. I searched the internet high and low too without any luck. Piscifun needs to make tutorial video!
Looks like you had a great day!
It was! I’ve had many more good days since then, but videoing the trips wasn’t easy with multiple people on the boat.
How far out do you have to go to catch those?
This time of year about 10 miles from the east cut. 50’ to 65’.
