My bike as it was with new engine kit. After 1000s of miles still runs great.
Suggestion: Shorten the pipe a bit and fabricate a Shark's Tail tip.
Interesting idea, I like tail fins. Thanks for watching.
what spark plugs would you recommend for a 110cc engine?
I believe my engine is a 55cc, not sure what your 110cc would call for. What my owner's manual recommended for mine, crossed over to an Autolite #2656 sparkplug. Hope this helped, thank you for watching my video.
Looks clean, does it slow down the engine?
No, it doesn't seem to have affected the performance. Thank you for watching.
Great informational video. Cheers
Excellent walk-through. Thanks!
Impressive, goes to show that regular maintenance and treating the equipment with proper care, can vastly improve the life and reliability of these small engines. Good job sir.
I have a 66/80 that is almost at 5,000 miles with no issues even original chain.
Your background music is so creepy, thats makes me nervous 😢😢
49 or 60cc?
Bought this motor kit almost 20 years ago, I think it's the 49 or 50 cc.
Awesome!!! I can’t wait to see how you install it. I’ve got an old Honda lawnmower and have been toying around in my head on different things I could do with it
I was thinking next, I would do an overhead valve B&S. I have a Honda lawnmower that I plan to convert to horizontal shaft, at some point in the future.
@@BicycleMotors-ep6pc nice. ill definitely check it out. i know absolutely nothing a bout 4 strokes. ive been learning an d working on 2 strokes for about a year now. when i see how differtent 4 strokes are i find them intimidating lol.
No helmet...
This was the most useless video I've ever watched.
I'd of liked the video better without the music but to each his own.
What a waste of time 😒
Yeah I’ve had one over 8 years still running great
always keep these things in ur house at nite or else some crackhead piece of shit will come along and steal it and sell it for crack. had mine tow chained to a pole outside my window in the car port and it got stolen got it back the next morning doing some gta 5 shit...fuck all crackheads!
Lose the 2 stroke! Get an EZ motorbike!!!!
I got mine used, put a couple few hundred miles on it over the years without skipping a beat & sold it running. Cant complain 🤷🏻
Must of taken it apart and cleaned and replaced parts at aome point. Aint no way.
Well yes that’s how all engines stay running, would you not change the oil on your car and replace broken parts?
Throw some Fox forks on that thing, cant imagine how uncomfortable and stiff that it
Boringgg
kinda like.. riding a bike?
Oh you mean an unregistered motor vehicle.
Actually no, most states require signals the ability to stop and under a curtain cc, and you're good to go, it's really not any cheaper than a moped or sports bike.
how much would it cost to build?
In the last few years, I've seen these kits on amazon for around $100.00.
America will fix that problem. Your next one will break every other ride, and it will be in the shop more than u could ever ride it again
Thete illegal in Australia now 🤬
No way? I might have to get one.
Thanks for the great video update 👍
Must be ole reliable PK80 Short rod
only real ones know that the starting song on this video is from Daniel CC movie channel
Mine lasted 13000k.s new barrel piston and rings was like new again.
The only reason I don't do it is because my 27.5" bike is already extremely heavy to lift up and down my stairs for my upstairs apartment otherwise I'd love to put one together!!!!
So am I to believe you can start it like a moped and just start peddling????
Pedal then pop the clutch.
I have two of these that are 11 years old with 1150 miles and 2890 miles on them. They still run as well as they ever have. The one with more miles might be smoking slightly more than the other.
Love the nipple on the hub but must ask why? I have cycled over a thousand miles in a single wedk and never needed to regrease the wheel bearings.
When I was a kid, I would ride my 20" a lot and several times I had hub bearings get hot and melt some of the ball bearings. I noticed my teenage cousin's antique 26" bike that looked like it was from the 1950s and I realized it had grease fittings on the hubs, guess they built them to last back then. I remember my bike feeling so smooth and free just after freshly cleaning and putting new grease in the hubs so, I started putting grease fittings in my bike hubs. I soon realized I could have that free and smooth feeling in a few seconds with a grease gun, without spending all the time and work to achieve that.
@BicycleMotors-ep6pc Fair enough. I find that it takes about 7 or 8 thousand miles before I needed to check my hubs. I did 200 miles a day for a week (7 days) when I was working in South Africa to raise money for a charity that provided education for the local children. I destroyed 2 sets of tyres a chain and gears etc plus a set of brakes but everything else was fine.
As long as you don't hot rod them to death. These kits last a long time.
Translation of long time please ☺️????
120 mpg is average for most motorcycles that go much faster.. Add a jackshaft!
You could save more money in gas and go faster.. and slower 😂
All these years and still, No jackshaft? Why not?
You can go faster, start easier and save gas money
I've thought about it, but the bike doesn't have the best breaking capability so, I didn't want too without a brake upgrade. I just didn't get around to it and with other projects going on over the years I just kept riding it as is, thinking I would just build another bike, with disc brakes and jack shaft. It would be good, to get where I'm going faster. There are pros and cons, with more speed there's more chance of pain, when in heavy traffic or getting unwanted attention from the man/authorities. Exabition pedaling mostly keeps you from getting stopped at lower speeds.
Most last 6 months
The bicycle itself is built to be safe at pe
AS WE SAY DOWN SOUTH ,,,,AINT NO DAM WAY!! yeah im sure it can last 40 or 50 years but not if you ride it back and forth to work every day putting 25 30 miles a day on it ,,im just being honest ,,i count on my bike to crank an run to take my behind back and forth every day raining hot and cold it dont matter i still choose to use one of these over anything else you cant beat your cost needless to say theres been many times i have gotten a ride home because of the weather an in the past 12 years i have wore several engines out ,,and have had dam near all of them from minarelli top ends to stihl top end engines and the only one that has took my abuse is the 54mm name brand stihl top end with a 42mm stroker rod ballanced crank with a minarelli exspantion chanber nibbi 17 carb 38 tooth sprocket,,theres pictures or it on my facebook page stroke too
I have a lot of millage on my wildcat pk80
🍿🍿
I have 2 of these motors a 60 cc & 80 cc only problem in Ontario Canada is certain areas will not let you drive these on any road and end up in court lol yup been there already lol, but thanks for posting
Are those zerk fittings in the hubs? I was just thinking about that the other day - did you buy them like that or do it your self?
Check out my hub video. I show you how to install them.
These bicycle motors will actualy last if you never run it over 20mph and use good oil and gas and keep good maintenance on them . Ive got 1 thats 10 years old snd still running .
But 3lectric bikes have taken the motorized bicycles place atleast in the city
But you Cruise yours pretty good take it easy buddy keep it cruising
Yeah I'd like to break really easy but you got to maintain them and you won't have as much problems
So your bike the last 20 years that's pretty good bro
They are junk and dont last long at all and break down with a million problems you have too fix. Better go off the E-bike route. cause at the end of the day, You know your bike gonna still run!
I guess you've not seen Ebike fire. No thanks. I want to keep my legs and or house.
You're a shit mechanic
They both have their positives and negatives. These are a bit easier to keep going if you are trying to go longer distances, i.e. you can “recharge” at a gas station, and be on your way in minutes rather than say, an hour or so. The electric versions, however, are quieter - and if ridden reasonably, are less likely to attract the wrong kind of attention.

how about 200 miles in a day? id rather spend 1-2 bux a day in gas and have unlimited miles. phatmoto life. 🍻
Happy to just subscribe, I am building a 20 inch 50 CC C.
i want a bmx with a 150 cc manuel
Is it 80cc engine?
Fairly sure my engine kit said 50cc. I've heard from other people the engine ccs can vary from kit to kit or have been mislabeled in some cases. I can't say for sure what mine is.
@@BicycleMotors-ep6pc it's just that I rode my friends bike with Chinese kit that was labelled as 80cc.Anyways 👍
50and 80 kits are great. 100 cc keeps on seizing up.
