For anyone looking into doing this, be very careful with your MAF sensor. I mean VERY careful. I thought I did a good job at keeping the MAF safe from bumps and bruises. Once I got the air intake on here I get a check engine light, turned out to be a bad MAF. Replaced and all is well

Basically what you’re saying is one of your steps may have to be pulled the cab off the frame that’s what I’d be thinking about

LBZ comes in 2005.5 to 2007. I just went through this buying injectors. My truck is titled 2006 but was built before May 2005 and is a LLY. The injectors are slightly different and the injector harness is slightly different and will not interchange. The LBZ is improved over the LLY. If you have a 2006, make sure to check the vin to verify which engine you have in it. I thought for sure mine was a LBZ but I didn't know this until I researched.

I love yur truck I have a GMC Sierra Duramax 03 it’s a Florida truck. I got it a year ago this past March truck is very clean I live in upstate ny so I actually stored it for the winter I just got my 5”inch with a 7 inch tip by mbrp . But yeah, your truck is really nice. I like it

Where does your air/oil and up at? If it’s blocked off then you could just block it at the head but then it would build pressure in the heads so I’m assuming it’s breathing but in that case it has to have a PCV or one way valve to let air out but it has to go somewhere

Can you get the turbo out without taking the exhaust manifold bolts on the driver side off? I’m kinda concerned that I won’t be able to get that oil to pipe off from the underneath there.

Does this change anything when the truck is in tow mode activated on the shifter handle?

I don't see how you could torch most of them, wires and oil everywhere the ones up top are mfer , the driver side up pipe even loose has a hard line locking it in , doing the turbo , up pipes and manifold at the sametime definitely an involved process

Had a tune on my truck w Bully Dog and it was messed up… had a custom tune installed without an actual tuner… I now have a Bully Dog tuner that is still married to my truck… any way to unmarry this tuner ? Thanks any info would be helpful

How the hell do you get the driver's side bolts out on the turbo pedestal? The bottom one is obstructed by the heat shield bracket. FML haha

I've got a 2014 GMC Sierra SLT and I have had the bully dog GT platinum installed for about 3 months before I finally uninstalled it it kept telling me I had sometimes 20 DTC codes sometimes only for most of the time it showed none but now the truck is got a cylinder 8 misfire read by a different code reader and my oil pressure solenoid is stuck off and I've got fuel injector circuits stuck open and transmission friction element codes. And wheel speed sensor codes and mass air flow circuit code. Smh

06 LLY'S are lbzs, different tune and i was told they have different head gaskets but literally the sam exact engine. BADASS truck man! Unicorn for sure 🔥🔥

What did you do with the egr valve temp sensor?

If you're going to make a video at least know what you're talkin about. PCV stands for positive crankcase ventilation. The pressure is caused by the underside of the Pistons going up and down so fast. Not because of blow by. I couldn't watch more than 50 seconds.
