Founded in 1905 in Birmingham, Alabama, AMERICAN is a manufacturer of fire hydrants, valves, ductile iron pipe and spiral-welded steel pipe for the waterworks industry and high-frequency-welded steel pipe for the oil and natural gas industries. Wreaths Across America 2024
AMERICAN and Specification Rubber were proud to once again support Wreaths Across America to remember the legacy of our veterans, and honor their sacrifice for our country and their contributions to our communities. With the help of hundreds of volunteers, a live balsam wreath was placed on every veteran's grave at the Alabama National Cemetery for Christmas.

John Eagan was my great grandfather. What a great company he started. I've toured the plant and been to Eagan day at the plant.

I know its true. Toured the plant as a kid with my brother's and cousins. I have the book of history of the plant. John Eagand son was my grandfather. As a blue collar worker myself I was honored to meet the workers in the plant.
I live down the street from ACIPCO
One of my all time heroes for certain is John Joseph Eagan. Touched my life in more ways than I even know.
He is my great grandfather
