Our family vacation to San Diego in July 2024. We visited Sesame Place for two days, ate delicious food at Cloak and Petal, and made pit stops in Irvine.

Video compilation of the 2023-2024 California snow season. My how things have changed. Most of this season was spent on the mountain with my daughter, but I was able to enjoy a few days with my friends at Bear and Mammoth. Great times with the old crew.

My annual birthday trip to Mammoth from May 3 - May 5 2024. This year it was a family trip! It was 3 year old Lexi's first time snowboarding in Mammoth and her first time riding in powder! It dumped several inches overnight, and we received a lot of fresh snow. Unfortunately, I lost my GoPro while riding. Luckily auntie Heather had some iPhone videos from the slopes.

3 year old Lexi's first time snowboarding. I didn't think I'd take her on a lift, but she kept asking to try it. It was a great daddy/daughter day, plus Mike. I've never had more fun snowboarding!

Two days after a decent dump, and there were still some nice untracked powder tree runs throughout the mountain. This was taken at the end of the day, and we still got some untouched tracks. We took Quicksilver off the top of Goldrush, went through the trees and popped out under Chair 9, and Pumpkin back to Eagle Lodge.

Video compilation of the 2022-2023 California snow season. Started the season off strong with a lot of skiing in Big Bear, but slowed down in 2023 as we got closer to the due date of our son. Prayers to the snow gods that one of my children will enjoy the snow as much as I do.

Snowboarding trip to Sun Valley, Idaho, from 2/5/23 - 2/8/23. No fresh powder, but the mountain was wide open with no lines. Flying to Friedman Memorial Airport was very easy, and it was a short ride to our AirBNB. The lifts were about a 10-minute walk from our condo, which was very convenient. Took River Run lift to Lookout Express lift to the top of Bald Mountain. We then took a cruiser run all the way down Upper College, Lower College, Sunset Strip, and Lower River Run. Sun Valley has very steep runs, with the base elevation at ~5750 feet and the peak at ~9150 feet.

360 VR video of a silly snowboarding game we invented. Shot at Sun Valley, Idaho, on the Upper Cozy run. 5 goons, 3 beers. 2 losers buy a round at the bar. Watch the video, rules are self-explanatory. After the beers are tossed, there are no rules!

This was taken on 1-11-23 in Mammoth Mountain after dumping 7.5 feet. I've never had issues digging my car out of the snow, but this was a different story. The folks that helped me owned a cabin there and had trouble getting their lifted 4WD truck with snow tires out as well. Having chains would have helped with traction.

Family trip to Mammoth from 1-8-23 to 1-11-23. We arrived before one of the biggest blizzards I've ever been in. Mammoth surpassed their previous season's annual snow total on 1-10-23! We had a great time at the Powpad, playing in all the fresh powder, and walking around to the local restaurants.

wow!! Big snow that goes around. Around here there is only one place where the snow stays for a few weeks. The "Serra da Estrela" is the highest point in Portugal. Digging up cars around seems to be routine.🙂 Beautiful time lapse.👍
