I have a 2016 CLS63 s and I’ve watched this video maybe 50 times before getting my dream car, I’m looking to upgrade my tyres just like the ones u have 265 front and 305 at the rear, is there any coding or tuning that has to be done to the transmission for the gear ratios to be correct ? Or is it just plug and play? I’ve heard alot of people say that I need coding for my tranny to upsize my wheels and stuff like that, would highly appreciate if you could help me out with this question.

Nice video guys. But the demonstration was really bad 😂 the camera guy very far away didn’t record procedure properly and when you took off the tire didn’t actually get you pulling it off the machine by spinning. The video just skipped 😂

This really might be the fastest CLS it’s really hard to go fast in AMGs this gen it can always make power but it’s hard to get the car to go fast out the whole. All AMGs are limited because the CPC see to much torque it cuts power in the first 3 gears even if you try tune the variables u can’t turn it completely off. That’s why big power AMGs are slow compared to the power they make. If this car could launch hard it’s a possibility low 9 car

For a special person, a veteran that had his dreams cut short due to a military injury and being gone, he had a dream car stolen and wrecked (Lamborghini Murcielago LP640 6 spd e-gear auto. The hip and lower back and neck injury was to much to buy another sporty older exotic. So myself and a group of auto enthusiast's talked him into a 2014.5 CLS63S. We asked him what he wanted: 0-60: 2.7, 10.2@140 in the 1/4 and daily reliability. Let's talk please. Thanks. PS: I hope all is going well for you and your crew abd families down there. Tq is all 0-80 and the AMG has it in spades over the Porsche and significantly less weight.

I know gearing is part of it but.

How can a 2020 Panamera turbo s with 620 hp and 604 tq. And 4730 lbs run 0-60: 2.6 sec vs a E63S with 603 hp and 640-50 tq and 340 l s lighter only do 3.2 sec???

I’d expect 900 hp to knock the 0-60 down to 2.3 sec,or so but evidently there’s wheels spin off and on upto about 50 mph. That would explain the extra half a sec drop that’s hidden in this beast.

To bad these are slugs stock. 0-60: 4.2 sec and 1/4: 12.4@118. I think that was the rwd 2012-13 model. The awd version got down to 3.9 sec 0-60 and 12.1@118 1/4 with the 577 hp engine in 2016. They're just 4600-4700 luxo-barges. Strange as the E63 with 550 hp did 0-60 in 3.9 sec and 12.1@119 and the awd S version in 2016 did 3.4 sec 0-60 and 11.7@122 in the 1/4.

FYI Braubas made a 1200hp one 4 years ago....You're not the world record holder..
