Are you Russian? I brought my Russian wife to Armenia after the Ukraine war started. It was a good choice. I have a LLC ( just me as a shareholder ), bank accounts in USD and AMD, residency - no problem. We were able to visit for 6 months without a visa in the beginning. The local currency is stable. I understand people are attracted to the beautiful beaches and climate of Turkey but I am Australian. To me every beach in Europe is a disappointment - sorry if I cause offence. It’s the only thing where Australia is a world leader:-)
im f*ked as a vegan gluten free
Thank you, so helpful! I am planning to hike Lykia-yolu, and with my gluten intolerancy since I saw they have gluten free bread and BEER in supermarkets, I am looking forward much more ☺️😉
Glad it was helpful!

Great video! Greetings from austria. I realize now what your channel name is and I laughed pretty hard. Samurai Has No Goal is really funny!
Haha, thanks!
Mount Ararat is wonderful
I'm due to travel the 26th of March. What is the best dress sense for this place as I have no idea and specially in march
It depends on where you are from and what climate you are used too. But for Antalian spring grab Shorts, Tees, jeans and a hoodie in case of windy days, and comfy shoes.
Perfect! 🙏
Thanks for the information. I enjoyed watching your video.
why would you people go to a country like Turkey, in the first place?
Our goal was to travel around the whole country, it has plenty of cool places to visit!
What did you use for transportation and going to these places please? We are looking to stay close to city centre but would love to explore as much as possible
Hi! The best option is of course to rent a car. But all those places are accessible by public transportation. It’s not gonna be a direct bus most of the time and you will need to walk from the bus stop to the spot. You can use Google maps to check bus routes. And there is an app called Antalya Kart that shows bus schedule and real time location. So you can plan your trip in Google maps and then check the Antalya Kart app to track buses. The only one that’s a bit too tricky is Aspendos. You should take a bus to Serik from the bus station and then hop off somewhere on the way and take another local bus. So it’s a lot easier to rent a car for 3-4 days and see Aspendos, Perge, Teleferik, Karain Cave and Guver Canyon.
Turkish food is one of the best and my favourite food. I have been very fortunate to taste a lot, before I found out about my Gluten and dairy intolerance. To eat GF food outdoors might be complicated and if you combine it with dairy it's a headache. A lot of soups contain bulgur or dairy, You have to say no to Lahmacun (which is the best of the best), icli kofte, islak burger, gozleme etc. However you can at least try to cook some of it at home just substitute GF bun in islak burger, for ease to use Gf tortilla for lahmacun or gozleme. Now to substitute bulgur is more complicated and it wont be same, but you can still get hat yummy Turkish flavours. I start cooking Turkish and Cypriot food at home and can do normal and GF versions. The first place you at looks more like a dinner where is quick and cheap food, place you visit over your break or after work. Hope you enjoyed your trip. Glad you shared the pills I'll have to check it out.
Thanks for your comment! Turkish food is good but yes, gluten is basically everywhere. Hope those pills gonna work for you!
Nice

Hello, dear friend.Excuse me how was your experience in March, because I myself am going to March 2024
Hi It depends on your plans. Weather is great in March, warm, sunny and not hot yet. For swimming it might be a bit chilly but you always have to see yourself. If you come from a northern country, it might be just right!
thank you
it is to direct rainwater in to the stone bassin for not letting the water forming a whole in the ground. in Germany it is very common. we do have one Chain hanging at the Sidegutter of olur small entrance-roof

Love Serbia 🇷🇸 from Greece 🇬🇷
The prices very much depend on the current supply and demand ratio. Who has an item before the others asks for a high price. Still, the prices are much more favourable than in most of Europe, especially western. One to two euros is what you pay for a kilo of most fresh veggies and fruits.
Hi both sorry to hear your plight from Turkey. It amounts to poor governance Bad governance And Ugly governance. After Erdoğan things have changed completely. They group countries like Russia India China and Brazil as BRIK countries. Now it is BRIKT. Hope things change.
Hey, thanks for your support. It’s not just about those countries. The thing is you cannot trust them no matter from where you are. The rules are changed on the go.

My wife and I bought two properties last year, with the full intention of retiring here from Canada. I really love the people and country and feel a great deal of regret to have to say this, but I would warn anyone to think really hard before putting their hard-earned money down. After several failed attempts to get our Ikamets with the help of the very large company we bought from, my wife was able to get hers albeit after paying a 'Lawyer' $1500US, while I was turned down 5 times with new document requirements each time, I applied even after paying another lawyer $1000US (she promised to refund the money if she failed... guess what... she asked for another $1000US to get the Marriage Certificate Apostille!). As someone who studied law in Canada, I can say that the Lawyers here are little more than Paralegals who demand money upfront and then make excuses when they fail. Since last year, the price of everything has doubled and continues to rise on a daily basis. This month, every government fee and tax has also doubled! For example, it now costs 20,000TL to register a foreign mobile phone (up from around 2200 TL last year and then over 6000TL in January! In order to get my Ikamet now, I am told to pay 10,000 - 12,000TL for Property Assessment Reports (5000-6000TL each because our Tapu is from last year!) On top of this, I must get my Canadian Marriage Certificate and Passport translated into Turkish around 2500TL each. This after having to return to Canada, get an official Marriage Certificate, and then pay $500 to have it Apostilized by the Canadian and Turkish governments! I have paid over 5000TL just in taxi costs in the past week going back and forth to the Guc! We have friends from Russia who are now trapped by this madness because when their Ikamet expired, their car and motorcycle were considered 'Illegal'. The government demanded they pay a fine of around 12000TL plus 25% of the Turkish assessed value of their vehicles. Vehicles in Turkey cost around 4 times what they cost almost anywhere else and there is a saying here that if you want to buy a car here, you have to buy two for the government. The rules and regulations are totally arbitrary, and I agree they cannot be trusted. Foreigners have been lured here to purchase real estate and then are fleeced for every possible penny. I have just told my real estate agent to sell my properties and we are leaving. The Turkish government is essentially a kleptomaniac and will cook their Golden Goose with their greed and incompetence.
Wow, thank you for your story here! Shocking! We are really sorry to hear it went this far with properties. We talked to a few people who got their Ikamets after buying properties over 75k but there is no any guarantee the law wouldn’t be changed tomorrow as well as the threshold and all those who bought 75k+ apartments will be able to extend those ikamets. And speaking of lawyers, unfortunately, there are plenty of stories about how they basically rob people.. That really sucks!
@@SamuraiHasNoGoal In my humble opinion, the Turkish government is in serious economic trouble due to its infantile understanding of economics. It has a disastrous balance of payments problem, which it is trying to address by luring foreigners here to buy Real Estate and then soaking them. This has led to a major housing bubble (80% increase in real terms) that will soon burst... perhaps as early as the end of the year, and leave those who bought at the top with a major loss and no way of recouping it. When we arrived, a purchase of $250K US in property could buy you citizenship. This went up to $400US in the first few months we were here. The problem is, that everyone downplays the actual purchase price of their property on the title deed for tax reasons, which means you must buy much more than the threshold to qualify. Our property value actually played no part in our ability to get our Ikamets, either. Except that they want an updated valuation so they can tax you based on that. They rely on your proven monthly income for this, not how much property you own. That's why I want out asap. I will no longer yield to their extortion.
Sorry for all the bad experiences anyone had in our country. I wish you guys will find what you are looking for as soon as possible. Until next time, hopefully we will fix our problems.
Thanks, bro. The country is great, it’s just the management issue 😅
How about a cleanliness in antalya like the street, the people and transportation...?
In Antalya city cleaning and sweeping services work pretty well. Public busses are cleaned and washed too of course. What we noticed is that there is a lack of trash bins around the city in general. You are walking along the street and simply cannot see any bins. So that’s why sometimes people tend to throw empty water bottles and such just randomly on the ground. And as long as people in Turkey smoke a lot, they drop cigarette butts everywhere around. So if city cleaning wasn’t doing it’s job, you’d immediately notice it 😅
basically turkey is robbing u with out using a GUN.
Thank you for the info 🙏 I was about to move there and you opened my eyes
I absolutely understand you both. My husband and I have only been here for a year, but the constantly changing rules and prices around here have us considering going elsewhere. I don't understand how they plan to attract investors when even people like us with american passports who can go wherever we want decide it's not worth the trouble.
Fellow American here also living in turkiye. I'm also so confused in staying or not. I bought a brand new duplex in antalya for almost 200k I'm 30 and single and I'm really confused. I feel like the locals don't really want us here. I don't plan on stealing anyone's job as I work online 😂.
I've been reading various reports that Turkiye has decided to reduce the number of Russians in the country by denying extensions of their visas. I'm not sure if you are Russian. Also, they have implemented rules to limit the percentage of expats in any area by not allowing the population the be overtaken and I think it's 20% of any area. I do think that some of your explanations and reasonings are biased and personal feelings, but then again my experience in Turkiye has been exactly the opposite.
We talked to different people there and those who were rejected had different nationalities. But our point was that the migration department didn’t provide clear requirements for those who apply. People were confused and didn’t understand what papers exactly they need to provide. Different migration offices asked different things despite the list on the official website. If there is a quota for nationalities, it’s okay, any new policies and regulations, good, just give that information to people so they are not confused. Before 2022 even with banks it was a lot easier. They didn’t ask deposits, for instance. The country itself is great. But all those uncertainties are not. You just cannot rely on anything. And we provided information based on our own experience, experience of people we know and whom we talked to around the country.
