𝐆𝐞𝐨𝐫𝐠𝐞 𝐏𝐫𝐢𝐜𝐞 𝐃𝐚𝐲 𝟐𝟎𝟐𝟓
“You are a good Belizean, and when more of us unite to build a nation, we shall get independence in a quicker time.” - 𝐏𝐫𝐞𝐦𝐢𝐞𝐫 𝐆𝐞𝐨𝐫𝐠𝐞 𝐏𝐫𝐢𝐜𝐞 (Sept. 16, 1965).
In the ceremony, we were honored by remarks from Mayor Bernard Wagner, Minister of Education, Culture, Science, and Technology, Francis Fonseca, and Prime Minister John Briceño, who highlighted the enduring legacy of George Price. As an advocate for environmental conservation, we reaffirmed Price’s wishes with a symbolic tree planting led by Governor General, H.E. Dame Froyla Tzalam, PM John Briceno, and Minister Francis Fonseca.
