2011 Corolla E steering. No rattling but I sure seems have some play in it 100k. Tie rod ends are fine, dealer claims nothing is wrong. Is this the same problem? Saw a video on pulling out the column...not fun job, especially for home gamer.

Rule of thumb…you don’t ever want to use a used suspension component.

Do you have to remove the engine and transmission in order to replace the rack and pinion on a Toyota RAV4?

Can you just change this , reassemble and it’s ok . Or do you need to do a reset / basic setting with the computer afterwards ? Thanks
