I remember playing this when I was really little and wondering why there were weird sounds in the area at 4:30 and I couldn’t figure out where they were coming from.. I checked -high- and low, then I finally remembered that there was an area _above_ it as well as below it 😂

Still my favourite moment in gaming history. Never felt such urgency to try and save someone in any other game, what a moment.

I was initially confused as to why you were skipping so many encounters, thinking you'd end up with an underleveled Crystarium - until I saw how you utterly decimate the bosses and realized you're one of the few people on TH-cam who truly understands this game and its systems. Bravo, man. Bravo.

Thanks for this video. The sidequests are just so garbage in this game, there's nothing nearly well-written or interesting enough to justify all the endless backtracking, NPCs with schedules based on the time, the ridiculously grindy chocoboard gather enemy mat quests that put the most tedious MMO fetch quests to shame, I gave up on the game as soon as the ultimate dungeon spawned and I realized how much more combat I'd have to do just to see the story finish. Love 13 and 13-2 but this game wasn't it lol

The FF13 saga was the testbed for a lot of things that FF7R is now winning awards over both old and new players. The FF13-2 Coliseum was arguably one of the most fun parts of that game.

I love this game so much, recently replayed this and that final cutscene still goes hard, and the music, I really wish they make a remake of this without all the time bullcrap and 13 days not being a mechanic or something, it makes the game shorter, I wanna play it with proper chapters, instead of visiting each area and figuring it out on your own. I kinda want it to be like ff7 rebirth’s open world.
