I used to sing this song in church in my late teens-20's. The pastors wife, Nelda, was such a beautiful inspiration to me. She was truly the most lovely Godliest person I've ever known in my life. Unfortunately, we lost touch after Hurricane Katrina in 2006. I've been unable to find her. But this song.... She always wanted me to sing this song, and I was so blessed to just be in her presence, let alone sing a song that brought her so much peace. I wish I could tell her how much of a blessing and an impact she had on my life those 20 years ago. (I went down the wrong path which she tried so hard to save me from. But I finally found Jesus again and I'm never turning away from my Lord and Saviour again.) I pray that I am one day able to thank her for everything. I want so much for her to meet my little miracle daughter. A true miracle. And to hear her (my 4 year old) sing this song with me. Nelda Medlock... Wherever you are- you will always be the most lovely, encouraging, godly, worthy person I've ever known. And I pray that you are living a life filled with love and Prosperity and all of the joy that you gave me so many years ago. I pray that you know that you are in my daily thoughts and prayers even to this day, and will always be. Every time I sing this song, I dedicate it to you.
