17:15- Unfortunately, charitable giving feels like an after-thought in modern-day Holidays where the focus is giving gifts within your own family first. Everybody should consider starting traditions in their communities such as Angel Trees, Adopt-a-family, etc. HOAs and churches are great places to start these up!

Worship for the Wednesday after Advent 1. Some early problems with Pastor’s mic, but they are ironed out at about the 7:35 mark. We used Vespers for the liturgy and the homily was titled “A Blue-Collar Christmas.”

Worship for Wednesday in Lent 3 (March 10, 2021) at Our Redeemer Lutheran Church, Newark, Delaware. Each week this Lent we have been focusing on a different chief part of the Small Catechism. This week our focus is on Baptism. There was a dead battery issue with pastor’s mic at the beginning of the service and so you will probably need to turn the volume up on your computer. However he received a new battery and the problem was rectified about 12.5 minutes into the service. We again used the Service of Prayer and Preaching out of Lutheran Service Book for our liturgy.
