Pacemaker fitted 30 January 2022
มุมมอง 26ปีที่แล้ว
Dizziness and a fall caused me a bit of concern, thanks to my friend Kay telling me to "call an ambulance" perhaps saved my life. A pulse of only 32 BPM, the paramedics took me to hospital quickly, lights but no sirens, (robbed with no sirens haha). A helicopter flight to Brisbane to have a pacemaker fitted. A few days later, I still managed to make my flight to Phuket.

Did you built the home with a service company, free workers or with members of the family? Thank you!
Members of the family and workers employed by the main builder
Happy for them, nice House!
congrats to all. looks great
Those short bursts of welding is a common practice here unfortunately. We had the help of a neighbour who was a retired welder, he put up a 4x5m roof above our front yard, I thought he was tacking the joins with the welder to come back later and fully weld, but no, that was the job done, and ever since then, all I've seen is tacked up buildings all over the country, I suppose Buddha protects the houses from strong winds eh 😬
Yeah, I think Buddha looks after most things here 555
Those floors are too slippery and hard.
Hard no, its good to walk there barefoot. But slippery yes, we made it with more grip.
Every expense spared.....
All Thais prefer to sit on the floor to eat tables are only for Westerners. The rain would've helped to settle the dust for a day. Very liveable house. Bushyboy Oz.
Thanks Ewen, this heat 🥵 is pretty relentless though, 39 in our shaded kitchen at the moment
Good to see you have completed your new home, congratulations. We also live in Photharam, but in Tambon Ban Sing, decent area so I'm sure you will like living here.
I do like it Mike, I'm here for 2 months this time but the heat is relentless
Very nice house
That recycled screen door would be much better quality than any of the new products on the market. All looks good.
I agree Steve. Thanks for the comment 👍
Thanks for sharing.👍
congrats and all the best. Will build our own in the Roiet area after harvest later this year. Loved your outcome and comments
Thanks David and good luck with your build, I'll be keen to follow it when you start.
How much cost buld that house
Not finished yet, but around 1.4M baht so far.
Hi where in ratchuburi are you as my girlfriend's family are from there. And am thinking of buying land
Kao Cha Ngum, Potharam district
@@All-THAIed-Up and in your area what is the average price of land maybe around I rai
@user-fl2mi4yq1p Not sure at all mate, I'm completely new to the area.
How much does a build like this cost mate? If you don't mind me asking.
Around 1.5M baht
@@All-THAIed-Up thank you
Surface mounted sockets and lights ? Best wishes for your build.
Yes, it's the way they do it here in rural Thailand. Thanks Les
I have also been thinking about that if you think about it does it realy matter 🤔 the house is never yours unless you are a thai citizen any possible problems that will arise will be way way in to the future 15 years or more i seen houses in thailand bulit like this and the house has been standing over 30 years even houses in Mexico bulit like this dont worry about it unless you want to drop $150.000 for it to be big and perfect 😂and in the end you will have nothing
I have never seen windows go in this early on a build.
I guess they do things differently there.
Nice straightforward house and build, some aspects are a little odd to me, why did they fit the uPVC windows before completing the walls they are normally fitted at a very late stage to protect from damage. There appears to be no reinforced concrete beams tying the columns together, and no beams/lintels above any windows so the blockwork above is entirely supported by the window frame. They have rendered the walls but what about the electrics are you having surface conduit. No dpm below the floor slab, no solar insulation under the roof sheets, I'd better stop now......Hopefully you won't live to regret these building issues later on.
No lintels over large plastic windows??
Builder puts steel lintels over all aluminium windows. The plastic you see is protective until job is completed
Ah right, I see that now. :) Good job! Thanks @@All-THAIed-Up
Very good! Not including the price of land, what do you expect to spend? How many square meters will the house be? Congratulations on your progress 👏 👏 👏
I expect it will cost around 2m baht. Sorry I don't have the plans here in Australia so not sure of square meters
Just for your information if you want to see the world’s brightest sunset’s the you have to come to San Diego Ca. Every time I’m in Thailand I notice the stark difference 🛹💯
Thanks for sharing. Love to you both. Well done Kam xoxoxo
I miss you Australia

Hi there, coming back to Cha Am for a visit in a few weeks, where is that market where the band was going to be playing, is it more the southern end of the beach? Used to live in Hua Hin, but much preferred Cha Am.
Hi Tanya. It's at the northern end.
Thank you for this video. This is nice. How was the flight? Any turbulance you had?
Not the best quality video, it's not easy videoing small scale objects, also I should have fixed some of the people and objects before filming.
I've got to get used to filming video with my new Osmo Pocket camera.
Awesome
