hey 🤝🤝
Certainly getting in amongst the snags to get the cod, fantastic viewing. I'm seriously looking at one of these kayaks after watching your videos and others. Do you have the underneath keel fin on when navigating the rivers as I imagine it being the lowest point that it could get caught up or make the floor rise up and over the snag? I understand that it does help heaps when paddling for tracking straight but not sure if it would be needed as much using a motor? Cheers Dave
@@davidb2502 the Finn can be helpful but it’s not a worry if you have it off or forget to put it on. You will have less chance of it getting stuck on a log when it’s off. When you decide to buy, just ask the team member to call the Griffith store for any further questions and I’ll happily answer if I’m available.
Hey mate, may I ask where abouts this is? Haven’t had much luck lately with cod and looking for good spots
Booberoi weir, Lachlan river
Awesome stuff. Some good timber there. How do you find the inflatable? What breed is it? Durability? Could you fish 2 men in there?
@@DougKelly2828 the inflatable is great. Good durability. I’ve got a few vids about it. It states only a one person yak. I’m yet to test that out.
i have one, ive taken me and a mate out into western port bay and gotten onto a few snapper in it. cant take the seat out as it gets too cramped though
great vid mate, ill be in this week to buy some
What fishing glove are you using ?
@@RileyCronin08 tool pro gloves I got cheap at Bunnings lol not bad actually
Looks my my hometown mate Good little weir
What do you use from line to lure? Snap swivels, speed clips etc

Cheers for the quick reply I'll have to try some mate👍🏻
Awesome! Few cod up there!
Bloody hell mate, they were going crazy!
@@TobysfishingNoutdoors NSW? I am not in there.
What river is this?"
Find it ur self mate, done just bloody sit on yt and ask people
I’m very new for fishing yellwo belly want to know where is this you fishing?
@patiphatklandee5963 can't give up secrets mate sorry. Try a impoundment like a big dam like burrendong or wyangla or something of the sort closest to where you live or local rivers and creeks they could hold yellowbelly and redfin in there
@@shaunking7345 thank you for your advise mate. I might not any idea, but ill keep trying my best 👍
its look like cotton weir
where is this place never seen before??
Mate what a cracking session , very happy to see the rivers doing well plenty of species to be caught . Hope can get a few fush with the fam when cod open season starts up soon 🤙
@@shaunking7345 cheers, December is slowly approaching. I’ve got 90mm plus lures to do when it’s time.
@Kyle_Barber yeah that's the go bro , I've stocked up on soft plastics and stumpies and swimbaits and a few megabass big M lures hopefully I'll crack the metre this season
Do you where is spot?

Great session, we’re keeping the reddies for a feed?
How did you go with the 24lb water snake . Do you cut the mounting board down so prop sits lower in the water
@@stevecurran3412 it’s good for me. I haven’t made any adjustments. Sits fine in the water as is.
Did you have two seats in there? Also thinking if getting one of these putting around with a 4yo
@@OneInterestedPerson just one for the girls. I sat on the milk crate. However the pryml delux metal frame seat will fit in it also. Enough room for one at the front and back.
Awesome. Thanks mate. Is operating the motor easy from the seat or do you need an extended handle?
@@OneInterestedPerson I don’t have an issue but I will stabilise the motor and use the oars to steer if I’m travelling for a period of time or trolling lures. In my other videos using the HD I have a few interesting set ups.
Awesome work mate! Great review! They look insane! And they certainly can catch the beasts! Keep up the good work!
Awesome work mate! Some absolute beauty fish! The beast is still the king of the Australian rivers! Tight lines bro! 🎣🤙🎣🤙🎣🤙
You got that right! Cheers buddy
What bait do you use

what it easy to carry and loading into the car?
@@patiphatklandee5963 yes to both.
1:23 that hit from the yella was sooooo satisfying! And then 1:38 the way it just did a back flip 😂😂. It’s an acrobat! And then at 3:12 you took your GoPro off and sat it up straight… how? Mine always falls over because it have the actual head strap attached… What a bluddy good video mate! @@warrensimpson9541 Thanks mate, I went simple and got the ASP 24lb water snake
@@Kyle_Barber thx for the quick reply mate , yeah keep it simple always best, bingeing on your videos at the moment good stuff !!!!
Gday mate, sorry I’m late, I started watching when it first came out but had some problems come up in life (our car has a broken suspension on the left and a broken transmission…) so I’m only finishing the video now! I absolutely love me yak, we’ve had 3 people in it. Me, me dad and me 5yo brother, all together about 180-190 kilos and we were completely fine! It’s a bit squishy for lure flicking with that many people but fine for bait! Have you ever had any problems with the oar being a bit short and completely soaking the shit outta your self? Loving these kayak vids man! Keep em coming! Tight lines bro 🎣🤙🎣🤙🎣🤙🎣🎣🎣🤙🎣🤙🎣🤙
@@TobysfishingNoutdoors bad news indeed. Product tested weight and sunk at 350kg but don’t try it lol test purpose only. I rarely use the paddles since I have the electric motor. Find a longer paddle but water will get flicked around regardless.
@@Kyle_Barber I think we should test it anyway 😂😂, there’s just something bout sinking a Kayla that sounds fun to me 😂😂
G'day mate. I'll definitely be purchasing one of these. It's a pity it doesn't come with a swivel seat. Would eliminate the reaching back for motor controls. I have seen one with a milk crate for a, seat. It worked OK.
@@stevenelliott155 I tried the milk crate and swivel seat. It was ok also. Just have to set it up what’s best for you.
@@Kyle_BarberI built a wireless remote for my trolling motor on the hd330
@@jasonleef3909 aww nice. That will make it a lot easier
Nice clip mate good to see you on the TT gear, couple of cracker fish, how’s the kayak????
Trial and error for battery time. Probably do a timed session in a less stressful environment. Does your motor have a digital battery reading?
Thanks for taking the time to put the video together and especially for the tip about putting the seat forward for the more hefty types : I've got the HD330 too (only had it out once and even then only paddling) but my battery is considerably smaller - Lithium 12.8V 25AH - while my Watersnake (54 Thrust) looks larger than yours? For a total novice, would you have any idea what approximate run time I'd have my inflatable rig with that battery? I'm old, overweight and unfit so I'm trying to avoid getting caught downstream with a flat battery 😆
May you please show us the inflatable kayak in detail as I would like to buy one as on special for $899 now. Thank you Don
@@collowood th-cam.com/video/u4sMATL-mvQ/w-d-xo.htmlsi=8ZIuDfM2T0oFlivZ
So just picked up one of these. My second drop-stitch inflatable. I got it so I could mount a watersnake .I have a 44lb one. But, I've been thinking about the seating as the included one is pretty low. I'm looking at your set up. Are you just sitting on a milk crate with a chair mounted on top of it? is it tied down in any way?
That seating was a quick set up lol. If you search railblaza gear hub you’ll get the idea to sit up higher. There are many more products like that gear hub to help you find what you need. If you do what I did, I attached a boat seat adjuster to hold it in place over the crate. Best to run a jockey strap either side to stabilise it. (Don’t lean back 😂)
@@Kyle_Barber thanks for the quick reply. Its given me inspiration to merge a frame seat and milk crate together with some pool noodle foam for dampening. It will be easy to stand up now. Also sitting higher will mean I wont have to shorten the 36 inch shaft of the 44lb watersnake because I am sitting high enough that the handle will be at least beneath my shoulder height instead of way above it as it was before.
@@AGHybridno worries. Set it up the way you feel is right for you. Let me know how it goes especially with the 44lb and what battery you’re using. I’ve weight tested 200kg already and it’s still incredibly stable. Get a tahwali electric pump if you haven’t got one. My psi meter is set 4.5 either side and 14.5 for the board.
@@Kyle_Barber Yeah I was planning on using 4.5 psi for the tubes and 14.5 for the base. Just give some room for air to expand and not stress the seams. I'm using a LiTime LiFePO4 12V 50Ah. I also have a 100 Ah but - that's a heavy boy - even for lithium and really over kill for a single days fishing an estuary.
yooo, Kyle mate. you just popped up in my suggested videos! yess love how your making fishing videos! haven't seen you since school days! hope you have been well mate!
