I’ve never gotten physically nauseous from a game until I played this. I was SO excited the more I learned about this game, but I just can’t play it like this. I’ve considered emulating it just to run it properly but it’s such a shame I can’t just have it on the go and play with friends. After the wonderful 200 hours I spent on TotK, I think it’s time to retire the switch and wait for a switch 2. I have a pipe dream that it’ll run the same games at better frame rates and I can finally get to play this game.

Try AFMF or Lossless Scaling next, frame-gen is awesome.

Try lowering the field of view... strange performance, TechHarmonics tested the same game on the same map with a Non-Extreme Z1 and he got 40+ FPS without issue.

For some reason my game runs horribly, when there are even a few coins on the screen the frame rate drops to 20-ish. I have a gen 1 switch.

Dude it's almost heresy for a mount and blade fan to not have f1+f3 burned into your muscle memory

Bit of an unfair test. You changed the software settings and not the handhelds. You can ramp it up to have this game on high: 30fps no stutter or fps issues, stable: 60fps no problems and lite at a overclock though I got distracted trying and kept playing

If the leads at Game Freak don't change or leave and how they handle development is not changed completely, if the quality of games continues to decline, Pokémon may lose its hold as the world's top IP. I feel like people now have a legitimate reason to hate the current state of the mainline games. Whenever Game Freak releases the next big game, people's first thought is going to be: Do I really want to risk spending money on a game that may be broken or is below average in terms of polish and quality, or buy this new game from a company that have had a good track record in recent years?

Im not buying any more games from them, If they dont fix this game before they release the next one.
