Hello! I am a college student who loves to make musical covers, mostly of melodies from shows like American Idol and America’s Got Talent, as well as video game music. What a wonderful original song recently performed on AGT that encapsulates the mental health struggled that many queer people face, sometimes being up at night and contemplating whether we have the safety to be our authentic selves for fear of rejection from loved ones and/or alienation from society. Mental health unfortunately still has a stigma attached to it in many places, and the inequitable distribution of cost-effective resources makes it difficult to give vulnerable individuals and communities the support they need to thrive. I am so glad that people like the Reklaws are brave enough to start those difficult conversations, and their music speaks volumes. Thank you guys!
