Fantastic review, thank you!
Thanks for watching!
I really think I want this.... but going back and forth between the cordura and xpac. I love the orange but not sure I like the exterior xpac. Do you have a preference and why?
You can’t go wrong with either material! The Cordura is a bit more pliable and has the gray interior while the XPAC is a bit more stiff, has better water resistance, and has the orange interior. The water resistance shouldn’t matter much with this since it’ll likely be packed inside of a bag. XPAC is also a little more expensive than the Cordura. Honestly, it just comes down to which style you like and personal preference.
@@GearOnTheGo do you think you can fit two electric toothbrushes in that toothbrush spot, probably with the head removed I would assume? It looks like you could hold a lot in it but not too much.
@sdophoto1405 it definitely depends on what kind of electric toothbrushes you have. Smaller ones, such as the Quip or Philips One should be able to fit. I have a bulkier Oral B toothbrush and the handle is too thick to fit in that spot. Hope that helps!
@@GearOnTheGo I just bought this and I love it already!
@sdophoto1405 I’m glad you like it!
I couldn't find this on Amazon so I got the same size Travelon (grey_ ) and I love it.
I wish AER’s products were available on Amazon. Thank you for sharing!
Just watched a couple of your vids- very well done!
I appreciate the kind words. Thank you for watching!
This convinced me that the MEDIUM may be the most versatile size...!
How does the internal matiral holds up to water? Like if I'll take it with me to the shower to be my shampoo holder and the such? (I'm camping from time to time so having a shower with anything more the a faucet and a curtain is more of a suggestion)
I haven’t had any issues with water since I’ve had it! I would definitely recommend airing it out when you have the chance, but it’s definitely robust!
Great product review, but I was looking for something that I can mount on a eyelevel
What size HeroClip? Small, Medium, Large?
Medium size
Can you safely charge with a cord while using?
There are no charging ports on this mount for wireless charging. But yes, you can charge your phone while it is on it.
This was really helpful! Thank you.
Glad you found the video helpful. Thank you for watching!
Awesome video! Love how detailed you are. We vlogged our recent trip to the new Aer store in NYC and this Travel Kit definitely caught our eye!
Appreciate the kind words! I’m sure it was cool to see their store in NYC! Thank you for sharing.
nice pad spigen airplane ✈️ ❤️
I think if I were to use this as a wallet, I’d really miss having that window (for my photo ID).
That makes perfect sense! There is something similar made by OneTigris you may be interested in amzn.to/3TG7Q2R
@@GearOnTheGo I’m currently using a Chums-it’s colorful, slim, lightweight, has a nice loop (for my chain), and has a window for my ID.
I said the same thing
@durhamskywriter very nice!
@@durhamskywriter I always find that even when I have the window they still want me to pull it out 🤷🏻♂️
Great video! Keep doing more of this!
Thank you for watching and for your support!
I have the first version of the Aer Travel Kit Got it on Ebay, So fare used it on a few trips. It fits everything from toiletries so all my meds. It works really well.
Very nice! Have you noticed any major differences between the 1 and the 2? Thanks for watching!
Not really except the locking zipper in the back. The loops are inside mine but thats something I don't use. Version 2 was out when I was thinking about getting one, I found mine on ebay used so I went that way with version 1 and it looked brand new. @@GearOnTheGo
What Dopp kit do you use on your adventures?
I just bought the Aer Dopp Kit 2 in X-Pac, I really like it but I haven't traveled with it yet... I went on a month long trip and brought a "Dopp Veneto Traditional Framed Kit 2 Zipper". It was HUGE and HEAVY and over kill... Was not a smart thing to bring but it's just what I've used for the last 5 years without realizing there was a world of amazing well designed Dopp kits. Now I'm in the TH-cam Rabbit Hole of Dopp Kit reviews, Tech Kits, Carry On Backpacks and Slings!
@ConnahJay the Aer Dopp Kit 2 also looks like a compelling option, but “chunkier” than the Travel Kit 2- a little bit too bulky for my needs. The Aer Travel Kit 2 works perfectly for me and I really like X-PAC- I would pick it up in that variant if I really “needed” the material 😂😂 You’re in a wonderful rabbit hole, to be honest! It’s always interesting to see how companies are innovating and refining travel/EDC gear for organization and aesthetics. Thank you for watching!
@@GearOnTheGo Do you feel like Aer makes some of the best Dopp kits and Tech Kits? I've seen other companies but I really like the Aer aesthetics and the build quality seems fantastic. Excited to use this! I'm really fanboying of EVERGOODS backpacks now too. Is there a good option for toothbrush containers too?
Aer definitely makes some good stuff! Peak Design and EVERGOODS make some great tech kits if you’re in the market for that!
Good video. Thank you.
Glad you liked it. Thanks for watching!
Awesome!
Finally someone that actually knows how to do product reviews. Thank you so much.
Glad you found it helpful! Thanks for watching, Ivan!
Awesome video, just about to pick one up
Glad you liked it! They’re pretty awesome pouches. Enjoy!
Great video with excellent demonstrations. Ordered one of these. Love the channel so far, keep up the good work!
Thank you for the feedback and support! Really appreciate it! 👊
Hi Derek! Thank you very much for the thoughtful review of our GoToobs+. You absolutely nailed most of their key features, and we are delighted to hear that they have served you well on your travels. We just wanted to add that we offer an actual lifetime warranty on all of our products, so if you ever encounter any issues, please don't hesitate to let us know.
I really appreciate you watching! I will let you know if I have any issues going forward. Thank you!
Is there a similar product for iPads? I'm looking for something specific for the 12.9 Pro. I'm assuming two of these would likely do it for the iPad.
Thanks for watching! I agree that two of these might do the trick to hold an iPad Pro 12.9”, but you would need to glue MagSafe Rings to the back of your case to accomplish this. I found a product that might interest you, but I haven’t used it myself. amzn.to/3PgNbkz It seems fairly versatile to fit a 12.9” iPad Pro and also to accommodate different seat types depending on which airplane you’re on. Hope this helps!
Do you watch movies/TV shows on your phone in the airplane?
What would you put in these bottles for your next trip?
What would you use the Alpaka Zip Pouch for?
Keep seeing so many conflicting videos. Most saying too small for wallet but that’s what I want it for!
It all depends on your needs
Great video. Thx
Glad you found it helpful. Thanks for watching!
@@GearOnTheGo it was very helpful. Not only was I using them wrong, you also clearly explained how to undo them, which had been a struggle, to put it mildly.
