Practice arena has helped me tons. In a real match you won't get to repeat scenarios so often, so it's hard to learn them. But on the arena you can create any scenario, and then repeat it until you become good with it. FIFA is largely muscle memory based. Learn the moves once and repeat them enough, and they'll be recorced to your muscle memory. When you start the game, go warm up to the practice arena for 5 minutes. You'll quickly get better, especially if you always try something new.

yeah, although haven't played FUT much in past few months as I've been busy. And it's always more fun at the beginning stage of the game. In my opinion this end-game stage isn't so fun with too OP cards. Any player is essentially maxed out player right now, so ultimately it doesn't really matter. I'd suggest playing with players that you enjoy using or like as a player 👍

home menu - play modes - quickplay modes - practice arena in FC24 press Learn To Play and you'll find the arena.

It's not hard, when you position sideways towards the goal/target, and then request the flair shot (or flair lob). You'll eventually get it, if your player has the flair trait. Players without Flair playstyle are unable to do it in FC 24. In previous FIFA's you could do it also with 5-star skills (even without the trait), but not in FC 24 anymore.

I gave some tips in my other comment to you, but ultimately it shouldn't be hard if you do it with a Flair trait player. I'd first attempt it with passes. Such as L2 + cross/lob, or L2 + L1 + triangle. It's way easier to trigger it as a pass. Then you'll understand the mechanism behind it, and then can start to attempt it as a flair shot. You are more likely to learn it by starting to flair pass, because you can repeat many passes in a row. Shots are harder to learn, as you aren't constantly in a place to perform shots (unless you practice in the arena).
