Nicely done sir, but I probably would have gone for new clock works rather than trying to clean and reassemble the original one. But you did and it came out nice.

What a nice restoration of a vintage lamp done. Before it was so rusty and ugly, but now it’s in good condition and working. I like the ball shape of it. I don’t know if it’s from 60s or 70s.

Nice refurbishing effort. I would have nickel plated the outer ring to make it look smooth and shiny. But that is just me. Thumbs Up!

You should never pull a clock apart without first letting down the mainspring or, in a clock like this, tying it up. Doing it like this risks damaging the wheels and injuring yourself.
