But why does coffee brewed by a barista at a cafe taste so different from coffee made at home from the same bean...

I like Decaf Coffee, and it helps keep my BP low. I prefer the Swiss Made Decaf coffee…it tastes more like caffeinated coffee. I am 79 and I love a cup of Joe.

You got the caffeine content in decaffeinated coffee wrong, it's 3 percent or less not 0.3 percent.. does it matter, fxxking wright it does, especially for people that are super sensitive

Nice segment. Decaf is the same flavor for me. I've had home brew and barrista made. Both tasted delicious. Why I changed? Caffeine affects my stomach and gut lining. So in order to stop taking or at least reduce the medicine Pantoprazole 20mg to a lower dose or not having it as frequently ( I was on the strongest Raberaprazole, then I weened down to Somac ). For my benefit I find drinking decaf is good with less stomach pain and discomfort during sleep time. Please note: Tea still has caffeine- it still affects the stomach. One S.A.D loss is "chocolate " as much as most people I enjoyed... but, No more. Carobs ok though. 😋

Believe me, it is! There was a period of time in the 90s when it was not hard to find. I regularly drank it at a coffee shop in London, Ontario called Beantown. It's harder to find these days and I'm quite sure there are few coffee shops that offer it today although I could be wrong. I did manage to find bags of it here and there, periodically over the years. I don't drink coffee any longer, but I can tell you that Kona is THE best coffee EVER!!!!!!

Its a new thing and it certainly dont originate from Arabic countries from old as the ice and chilling would be a problem hence its modern drink, i moved to Australia when i was 10 in 1993 and thats the first time I tried it from a vendor, i wanted a choc milkshake but as the items was all differently named and logo'd i had to ask but unfortunately the vendor at run out, but said try this it dosnt taste that different from a milkshake he gave me a vanillla iced coffee, id say it oringinates from Australia with its high percentage of lebonese communitys to cater for them, funny thing is i moved back to england as my dad didnt like it there and its only been in the last 2 or 3 year that you can find it in shops it now 2023..
