    My mechanic says I have zero compression in one cylinder- Yet the engine runs perfectly and the egt/cht is normal. I believe he just wants to charge me at least one cylinder each and every annual. Says it is in the exhaust valve- can hear it through the pipe. Why do these Continental engines seem so delicate? A car engine can go hundreds of thousands of miles, but an aircraft life is so short?
