This cover is really beautiful, the kind of song that comes to me when it's 4 in the morning on a school night. I don't think I'll ever stop going back to it, it's like an extension of the original song. In private I recorded a cover using your lyrics exactly a year ago when I was in an awful place, and while there's still a long road ahead, with the knowledge of hindsight, things have only gotten better since. Would it be alright if I used sections of your lyrics for a proper cover? Of course with credit. I want to write sections of my own to be more specific to my experience, as a song as personal as this allows for it, but it's difficult to imagine the song without being accompanied by the lyrics from your cover that I had been deeply moved by. Thank you for sharing your singing with the world. It's a wonderful thing.
