Hey Lauren, I want to wish you all the best for your first fight I hope you are matched with another girl of similar abilities & experience. I thought the older trainer in E7 I think, , is the guy you should be training with as he took the most interest in your technique. These guys in part 9 make it fun sparring but I'm not seeing your hands up, chin down, control of your breathing, no light front foot for checking, no retraction of your round house kick, and the most important thing no stepping off the center line to take the power out of their body kicks, teeps and punches. Your best asset will be your strong legs to kick check and knee so fine tune the technique ok. As a final week of preparation, I'd like to see you sparring your trainer he at half speed and 20% power & you at full power, 5 x 3minute rounds ( or 2min if that's your fight round) to test your metal before your fight to get used to & manage the adrenalin the breath & avoid the adrenalin dump in round 3. Your opponent will have the same mental challenges as you and the one who has a fight plan to control their breathing best going into the last round who has neat Muay Thai technique & control usually gets the decision. Finally, its great your sister is with you to help you relax & take your mind off the lead up to the fight. Have fun and enjoy the fight , I'll be cheering for you.
hi
Would love to say day in the life or trainning sessions too!
Love your videos!
@@MESHAANDHERFRIENDS aww thank you!!
Good video, but not enough good boi head scratches Thank you for the recommendation Yt algorithm
Hope I am wrong, but sounds like (betting money) changed hands and the wrong person was in front on the score cards, hence the Officials did not want to show the scoring. Really disappointing that your gym was banned.
Hey I wanted to send you an email about something but there was no email on your page then.
ready for fight
15:55 I wasn't going to say anything because this is your journey and to you I am just a stranger, but then you asked for tips and advice, I haven't competed in Muay Thai but I have competed in wrestling, boxing and am currently an active fighter in mma and am competing for an amateur middleweight title in 3 weeks from now. My best advice for how I experience this anxiety your feeling is to live in the moment. When I'm at work I'm at work, when I'm studying I'm studying, when I'm training I'm training, when I'm sparring I'm sparring, when I'm working on my health and fitness I am working on my health and fitness, when I'm recovering I'm recovering. I am reminding myself to just live in the moment because life is too short to be having negative stress all the time. That being said it is always in the back of my mind it is my main focus and it is my current path, but I don't let it consume me in a negative way, then when it comes time to fight, I realize I have literally done all I can do leading up to this point. I have done absolutely all I can to prepare for war. My whole life has lead up to this moment, I belong here, now it's time to have fun, and just go in there and get the job done. You are doing all you can do, and you are doing your best, we can always do more but that's just what makes us human, the opponent is only human as well, they are nothing to fear, and if anything, even if they don't show it, they are just as if not even more nervous then you are. Now go and take what's yours. It is all one big blessing at the end of the day.
girl, you are doing great! you have put in so much hard work, showing up everyday for yourself even when you are tired. I understand the anxiety bit. I am sure you do already but prioritize meditation, connect with yourself and don't forget to remind yourself that you are not dying, you're not having a heart attack, your heart beating fast is actually the opposite. it's helping you figh, be strong and be alive. during the fight, adrenaline will take over and win over anxiety. have fun with it. seeing your growth, physically and mentally is amazing and so inspiring. you will feel so proud of yourself after the fight regardless of the result, simply because you did that!!
compression tshirts and shorts are best for combat sports for both men and women
Also wanted to add sparring with all my teammates who have way more experience than me and new people who I don't know anyhting about helped a lot!!! My opponent was also a first timer and was not even close to as good as my teammates (since they're all current or previous fighters).
I had a good coach who was moreso a motivational speaker but his technique was really bad and decided to cancel the fight. I ended up finding a really good coach who's from thailand and had a whole team who all fight. I learned so much from them and fought after training 2 months with them (couldv'e used more time but I was eager to fight). My fight was 4 months ago, it went great and I'm so glad I did it. It's not that bad if you're both first time fighters but you can't have any hesitation. Whatever you do just do it 10000%! I've gotten so much better now and continue to get better and plan to fight again. Props to you for training and don't feel presured or that you'll have regret. If you have the time to continue training and don't feel ready I say give yourself more time. But if you're eager to do it, then just go for it and dont ever look back or question yourself. Just go in with no hesitation. My Kru made me run every single day and told me it's up to me wether or not I want to fight, he doesn't care if I train with him and decide not to fight its up to me! But... if I do decide to fight I must put all my time and effort into training 7 days a week, never missing practice, and being hoenst with myself about this. No run, no fight. And same goes with showing up to training. Everyone has bad days of training and so many days you don't want to train and just rest/go out with friends and drink. But if you got a fight and are commited, you must be commited 10000%! I love watching your videos and seeing you in thailand, I wish to come there and I don't fight to become pro but fight for my own passion. Whatever decision you make props to you, and don't have any second thoughts, whatever decision you make stick to it. I don't wanna say first timers fights are easy, but just know they aren't going to be some pro or even an amateur who has had multiple fights. Your competitor will be in the same situation as you and that should drive you to train harder thinking of how much more hard work you'll put in. Whatever decision you make good luck!!! And keep us posted :)))
Good 👍 can you show us outside sometimes
Thank you! Yes, outside as in outside of training or outside in Thailand? ☺️
Good stuff
❤
You’re doing great!! When is your fight? Would love to go watch!! Will it be there in Pai or CM?
Aww thank you so much! It’s supposed to be in Pai next week but will keep you posted as things have changed! 🫶
Woo congrats on getting a name locked in! Winnable fight for sure, you got this 💪🏼
Thank you 🙏
You should go see a sports psychologist may help
Respect for having the balls to step in the ring! Stop overthinking stuff.... focus on the dance / fight - and worry about what comes afterwards - afterwards. Easy Peasy. Block out anything external to the fight and worry about those things After you WIN the fight (which you obviously will do :o)
Needed this. Thank you so much 🙏
❤
I can see Hard work and dedication. Keep going 🫶🏻
Thank you 🙏
i believe in you lauren !!!! you got this ! keep pushing and expiring others ! :)
Thank you!!

Magic oil. Lol. It does work though.

That's because you messed up on a kick or the kick wasn't up to par with his training standards
omg i always see your tiktoks!
Bravo

I’ve been training almost a year now. Much love and power to you! Love your accent btw. Oooweeeeee
always so excited to see new videos from you !! x
aww thank you!! 🥹🫶
Wouldn’t recommend not checking the low kicks but maybe if you can learn to hit them with something heavy as they throw it it might deter them a bit 🤞🏻
Always a legendary uncle somewhere in Thailand with the magic oil 😂
😮
Love this 👏🏼
You’re so beautiful and strong 🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻❤️❤️ I have a massive crush 😅😅on you
You got this. Your pad rounds today were amazing. Seriously. Also, no one ever feels ready for their first fight. You're definitely overqualified. Might not feel like it, but you are 🙏🏽🇹🇭🥊
Thank you so much!! 🙏
Do you train twice a day or just once?
A mixture of both 😊
Respect for dedicating yourself and being willing to step into the ring 💪🏾Excited for your journey ahead
Thank you! 🙏
