As much as I like Stephan Bodzin, after Powers of Ten, no release was as impactful to me as some of the absolute bangers of the album. And I think that if you heard him live once, you've heard pretty much all of his sound. Musically, self imposed limitations can be very good to make the most of your limited toolset, but for me personally, it's getting old. Always the same drums, always the same buildups and frankly - now it's always the same style of synths. He is a great musician, I don't want to say that he isn't. It's just that it doesn't feel anything new and fresh is coming. Probably a "too much touring" problem... Like... remember Berlin Calling? Yep... After that, Paul Kalkbrenner released <some generic track> after <some generic track> with every few having any impact at all.
