This time, I filmed the bonsai in the pouring rain.
The bonsai trees greeted me with a different expression than usual as they stood in the rain.
The leaves and trunks, wet from the rain, shone even more brightly, radiating in the dim light of the rainy sky.
They felt almost divine, as if draped in a thin veil.
Each time a raindrop hit, the leaves bounced, showing a charming movement different from when swayed by the wind.
I wish I could share this live feeling with you.

I am Japanese and live in Japan, but I am not a bonsai artist. However, I love bonsai and also grow them myself. I mainly cultivate pines and chinese juniper, but I am still a novice. I liked this show a lot. It seemed as though some rules were relaxed. I loved the azalea with the holes in it in the gray pot, amazing. The tallish, pine with some white bark on it, wonderful, not a usual style. Jeannine
