First off, I want to say thank you for posting this video. It is very informative with lots of goodies. This looks like the path i want to be going towards buying SFR and doing ADU + DADU in the near future . My current experience level where I am as an investor is that I have completed 1 flip last summer and also sold it as a Realtor myself and currently right now just finishing up my second BRRRR. I am starting the loan for my cash out refi process now....... My question is, since it is hard to always get back 100% of the cash I put into a deal thru a cash out refi process. How do I tap into the equity so i can keep doing more deals??? I have 95k equity in 1 Short term rental and another 150k - 200k equity depending on appraisal coming in on my current BRRRR. Since both of these homes are not my primary and I do not have a w2 job. Is HELOC out the window? I am full time either gonna do flips or find more BRRRR's to hold. I have equity but would like to keep investing or invest with you to learn hands on in the field bout the DADU process. I also did all the renovations in my BRRRR by myself, no subs just me.... Super helpful info on ADU. Question about your comment on “you can’t build ADU on existing parking”. Not sure what you meant? I have seen people demolish the detached garage facing the alley to build a DADU.
