Yes I am aware of the variation, I kept it the same style that was taught to the On Top of The World dance group in Ocala a few years ago.
We have always dance section 3 as "back rock step brush, left rock step brush" as per original script by Janet Padget. We are in the South East too and been doing it this way for 15 years or more
