History has shown the top 2 in National league always perform better than expected because that league is so tough to get out of with only 2 promotion spots.. the cream rises to the top where league 2 holds a lot of has beens and failure teams who only stay in EFL because only 2 go down each year.

Very little research done here. Could have explained why you think Braintree will finish bottom? Clearly didn't know that they have gone full time for the first time since 1955 and have signed on a team full of players with EFL/National League experience. My only concern is how long they will take to gel as a team as it hasn't happened yet, but they should be OK. Don't forget in 2016 Braintree finished 3rd as a part time club, and have also finished 6th and 8th in the top flight. They were predicted to go down every season.

cissoko is your shining light amongst a sinking ship, looks a top player him mate, hopefully you lot can pick it up and use it as a bit of a wake-up call and hit the ground running from playing us, i wouldn't take too much from it though as you're expected to be around the relegation zone and we are expected to be in and around the playoffs - we played absolutely unbelievable on sunday and I can't see many teams having much against us if we play with that much energy and keep the ball so well, it just shows how much we have improved 👍👍 cheers for giving us credit pal because nobody else gave us credit for our performance - good look for the rest of your season hopefully see you at home park

Rooney is the problem. It's not the players. Sure if it was a few players then you can isolate them but all of them not performing well or trying etc? they looked confused out there and that is on Rooney. People keep making excuses/apologies for him at each stop... In the end he has had 165 games with 3(now 4) different clubs and all of them share the same performance issues, it's not a coincidence. I hope i am wrong for your sake.
