Curved stairlift Thyssen Flow 2 demonstration

Notes: * The rail is a pair of slimline tubes * The stairlift has a power swivel which rotates at the top of the stairs

Note how the Acorn 180 curved is supported by a single large rail, which is manufactured in discrete sections. These discrete straight, curved or helical sections can be assembled to fit virtually any stairs.

Note how the power hinge means that the front door can open when the stairlift is not being used. This is an essential safety feature in houses where the stairlift would otherwise inhibit free access through the adjoining door.
