great phone.. received mine at the weekend.. There was one major issue with it though.. a bug in the 3G/data connections. After some hard google work, translating various languages and filtering the BS from the true methods of fixing the 3G and rooting the phone I can truly say this is phone, for the price point, is excellent. I do suggest to anyone selling the Legend/Star/HDC x920 to patch the 3G modem data to give less headaches to those who are not all that tech savvy. Tutorial to follow.

Sorry, i never ROOT phone so far. And i also do not know how to root it. Few people asking for rooting chinese phone, as they know it will get themselves into trouble.

maybe you are right. To be honest, this phone is a kind of CHINESE BRANDE REGISTERED phone, the main market is for Chinese Domestic market, therefore, there are some limitation. I will see if i can get firmware from the factory to root the phone. As to the methods you mentioned, did you try with other chinese android phone ? If it works, then i think it will also be working for this POMP phone.

Why do you want to root the phone ? The phone is android 4.0 OS, and it has GOOGLE PLAY STORE. You can already use it smoothly.

for all of the chinese phone, we do not provide firmware for ROOT. I don't know what is your generic methods. It is not recommended to ROOT chinese phone, otherwise, if it has problem we will not warranty it.
