Crokinole is serious business!

Yeah, you even told him he needed to peel. It wasn't your best example of situational awareness. Great game though.

Yeah... well we had only like 6 teams. First phase was a round robin where Danny/Will played Barney/Yakov. Then second phase was a Semi-Finals with 3 teams in a round robin where Barney/Yakov played Danny/Will. Then, the finals was Barney/Yakov vs. Danny/Will. It's weird but it only happened because the field was soo small we had to add an extra round to let people play a bit more.

I'm flattered you think we are actually running an official "tournament." This is just one of our monthly get togethers. Pretty much every other event you can see in our videos, save for a few Pax videos and the few US Open videos we recorded, are just us enjoying Crokinole at our monthly meetings. We do run a small casual tournament, but most people come to play a bit more casually. I assure you when we actually run our "Brooklyn Crokinole Championship" event we will be following NCA guidelines for proper tournament play. Cheers!

@@jeroldharter Hey Jerold, I know most of the clubs on the East coast as well as many of the clubs in the Midwest. If you are looking to find a group to play with, let me know what region you are in (State/City) and I can probably find you a group nearby. You have a lot of interest and having a group really improves your play. Cheers!

@@bcccrokinole8633 Thanks. I am in Wisconsin. I have played with the Titletown club in Green Bay, the Minneapolis club, and the Windy City club in Chicago. If I were home more often I would try to start a club where I live. Watching these videos has helped my game. If I ever get back to New York I will check out those clubs.

Yes, for a voice actor, Ryan is an excellent Crokinole player.

Your question could be interpreted a few ways. First, if your opponent has one or more pieces on the field you are required to hit one of those pieces, otherwise your shot, even if it goes directly into the center hole, will be thrown into the gutter and does not score anything. If you are asking why people sometimes aren't shooting for the center even if they can, that's a much more nuanced question. There are certainly times when you wish to play defensively and stay away from the center to hold onto your lead. It's very strategic and situational. I hope this helps.

@@bcccrokinole8633 Thanks for the recommendations, was already subbed to @extrapintcrokinoletexas, but not the others so will do so now. I'm actually in Australia (and remote Australia at that), so I do most of my multiplayer crokinoling vicariously through YT. Keep it it up! 👍
