When is the next Star Trek convention?

So many emotions. Remembering a time that was so much better than this we have now.

Still the best. All others since this one are trying to imitate it (and fail).

Captain's Log-Stardate 5713.36 The Romulans, the Gorn, the Klingons, the Tholians are not happy that we were back on the air. They sat on the edge of their galactic backside burners salivating at our defeat at Wolf 359; pulling out the old Tupperware to have a go at what they thought was the end of the Federation. But we sent a message blazing across federation space and even violating the Neutral Zone to say to Ms. Haversham, and all the other Havershams, that Pip was back! With even more pips on his collar. And if it's a blemish on our com badges to watch an old witch burn, well. as the Klingons say, she shouldn't have fought in a burning house.

All you morons who think the Cardassians are not more advanced than the Romulans, Klingons and Federation forget about 0:11. Gul Dukat's Cardassian ship clearly withstood the Klingon damage. Minor power, no dumbasses...

I am hoping we can have the series uploaded in yt. Scared me as a child watching this late night even though it's not for a children's show hahaha

Space: 1999 had a dramatic opening theme (as with Battlestar Galactica original). So, a case of passing it on to Star Trek original series.

I saw one like this with the theme from Hawaii Five-0.

Yuppy Gen lost me in the first year. I loved the Captain and Data, that was it. Eventually, i watched the re runs of the show, and then, i admit that Generations surprised and pleased me. YG had a few excellent episodes, as did DS 9, but Voyager had the special light of the original Trek. I watch it, most of the episodes of it through the years, and visit my favorites from the first series. The few from YG i visit are well worth seeing, but painfully few in the long years the series was on. DS9 started so well, but got stuck, and couldn’t move forward, but it did leave some gems that stood time well. Such wonderful actors playing characters, so often wasted. Those were the series i watched, the prequel series, not at all, and the new one, though it has some of my favorite actors in it, i hesitate. My son and his boys are fans, though. I just need positives just now. I am not recovered from the very non hopeful years behind, nor am i hopeful we have enough time to recover in time for the near future. That makes me unready for a darker version of my beloved, hope filled Star Trek. I miss hope.

you know people say way over the top things about star trek all the time so im going to say one but i think its actually quite true i think, by in large, peoples ideas about what our future world SHOULD BE, what we are working to get too are shaped totally by star trek we, all deep down inside, want to make the future like star trek Roddenberry just wanted to make a hit show but he ended up painting a picture of the future that the world has fallen in love with thats a hell of a thing for a mediocre mid sixties TV show to do ain't it?

Star Trek should've changed up their intro something along these lines. This is fantastic.

This stuff would all be worth even more now. Paramount would have made more money had they kept all of this and put it all in a museum

They should have made a museum out of all this stuff so ALL the fans that kept the show going and really love it could get a chance to experience that instead rich people bought and keep it inside their empty mansion where no one will see it ever again. Greed

This would've made a great opening if Star Trek had a season 4. ( Space 1999 definitely had a great opening. ) This was VERY well done. I like the way Kirk looks over to his Right just as the credit's change over to Spock and then the way Spock raises his eyebrow for the next scene change.

The Next Gen. hero Enterprise is a beautiful design.

It’s not a thirst for more Star Trek , it’s a thirst for a world better than our own that leaves behind the primitive survival for rent , tuition and bills and embraces what each person can bring to life if not chained down by the mundane.

YES YES YES...and now they done messed it all up ...!

It is truly a shame what these people did with these terrific one-of-a-kind pieces of star trek history or television and movie history, just sold for cheap money, you could have made it into such a brilliant Star Trek Museum, especially because these ship models nowadays are no longer being produced at all, I just can't believe what a shame and these people who sold it all who approved that everything was sold should be ashamed of themselves

What a stupid idea to sell all these special features, these suits, these props etc... , Paramount could have opened a really great Star Trek Museum, and they would have guaranteed to make money with it, why don't they have the old bridges? Why didn't they kept the old bridges from the next generation series or from Voyager? They have all been destroyed or have been deliberately destroyed or have been sold, there is now only the bridge of the first enterprise but all other bridges are no longer available or have been sold. How do you get such a stupid idea? Why don't they collect what they have used in the star trek shows over the years and make it a huge Star Trek Museum? Where all people can go and look at the items? Instead, some rich fans at home now have these props, great

Thirteen years later I am still so sad watching this documentary, all these objects are the material heritage of Star Trek, it would have been better to make a museum for exhibitions for the pleasure of the fans it could have been a kind of temple. Star Trek is a monument to science fiction and populare culture. When I see this show I tell myself that it is the end of an era a beautifull era. I hope the journey continue.
