So what if you believe in Islam? Or Buddhism? Or Satanism? Thats the problem i have with religion. EVERYBODY'S religion is the only TRUE, right one and all the others are stupid. Which one is right? Yours? Or is Allah the supreme being? Or Buddha?

Waa he questioned at the rail, or was he just passed over. That question was never asked. If unfamiliar people come to me, I ask whether they are confirmed Lutherans. Of they don't answer affirmatively, I pray for them and ask to meet with them after service. I also explain, at the beginning of service, the meaning of Close Communion. I still might get it wrong on occasion. If so I apologize and serve the Lord's Supper to that person when I find out.

Were you denied or were you asked if you believe you are receiving the true body and blood of Christ? If you weren't asked a question such as that, did you let the individual know you wanted to receive it if the pastor just passed by you? I think I've only been to 14 LCMS churches.

I prefer a funeral to a wedding. You don't have to buy a present and there's more room at the bar.

I refuse to tithe to church.

I so agree, as GOD allows testing of what and who are HIS. I miss you Pastor Matt. God enjoys you talking to HIM, asking in prayer, when you are in need of, to show you HE is listening, so I hear this in prayer. This not for what you want as much as what you need at the time. And sometimes this is direction to what you need and it does not feel like a blessing. My husband is on low pay, we are struggling, and he needs a better-paying job and employer. His boss is abusive emotionally, and he is looking when possible for a change. He interviews a week back at night. He is in an internship Monday, and on a paying job Tues-Friday, plus studying to get certified at night and weekends. This week his boss tells him to go home, and he thinks he is fired for answering his phone. But he was used as a warning to everyone else in the office, taken back the next day. We get a call from his interview Sunday, given an offer, for not now, but in July, to start a new job. It's a hope. He needs to keep this job for 4 more months. It does not pay well to be white, old, educated, or American. The rich will fire all they pay too much for, and hire who will work for less. There is no job security except in government and teaching. You can pay cash for foreign help though illegal, as is so available, and you won't have to pay overtime, high wages, days off, or unemployment. Many foreigners are being supported to come and stay here to get free education, healthcare, and homes for party commitment of voting Democrat. While all is given away, and the poor are used, while our middle-class are losing their jobs. Healthcare cares only about making a profit, as the doctors are not testing what they provide. But they. gain vacations and bonuses for what they get their patients to buy. Our food is no longer checked to make sure it is healthy but there are paid-offs. We have trusted our protectors. Who competes' with them? If enemies come here and buy up all our businesses, and protection in services are we protected? Who is stopping the foreign purchase of our companies? Over 70 % took this COVID shot, so this indicates we are in a good time for the Mark of the Beast now. The official doctrine of the LCMS is that someone unknown to the pastor should speak with the pastor prior to coming to the rail. You are sinning in making a false accusation of racism. The pastor is the Steward of the Mystery. That you falsely make this about race is abhorrent! Every LCMS pastor should deny you at the communion rail if they have not spoken to you before. You either ignored your seminary training or CSL failed you. Color has NOTHING to do with your arrogant demand to be communed without getting permission.

Then leave. If you don't get closed communion and why it's a thing, as a pastor of all people, then leave. I've been asked at the communion rail as a visitor if I am a lutheran, because I was a stranger. It is NOT a race issue, it's a "you not understanding your own doctrine" issue.

“The idea of being denied at the communion rail” You mean… the agreed upon confessional practice of closed communion? If you want to commune, you approach the pastor ahead of time. You don’t presumptuously come up with open hands knowing that he is going to have to ask you whether you’re a member of an LCMS congregation in good standing. And as for this racism nonsense, what ever happened to “putting the best construction” on what your neighbour does? Why jump immediately to “that’s racist”?

You shouldn't commune anyway until you learn to love the brethren. Repent of your divisive commitment to anti-Christian marxist theory over the gospel before you expect my right hand of fellowship. What a contemptuous way to deride pastors to whom you don't even speak before gallivanting up to their altar rails. Who do you think you are?
