Thanks for watching our video! Yes, I would recommend this FR Solera for a first time RV owner if you are looking for a driveable RV. It is a shorter moterhome so it’s easy to drive and because it’s a Class C with the standard Ford E350 chassis, it will be easy to service. It’s a breeze to back into an RV parking spot at a resort, and with no slides or stabilizer jacks to deal with, it’s easy peasy to set up. Any other questions, let me know!

We are planning on going live on TH-cam on 9/20 at about 3pm, just prior to leaving port Canaveral. Kinda depends on when the muster drill starts & ends. Please stay tuned 😊

Thanks for watching! We don’t have a toad either. On short stays, we stay at RV parks that have camp stores, restaurants and bars so we don’t need to go out. For longer stays, we rent a car. Seems to be working well for us. Our Class C is 24.5 ft in length so we can back into a standard parking space with no problems. Since it’s a Ford chassis, we just have it serviced at our local Ford dealer. When I took it in to get the oil changed, there were 3-4 other Ford Class C’s they were servicing. Good luck!

Obviously, these people do know what they're talking about. I've owned both A and C class motorhomes and prefer C in every way. The handling of Class C in city and out on the interstates is much better, especially going up and down hills and mountains.

@@b.z.arizona2413 The turning radius in a class a is far superior, also unless you have stick legs you have no room to sit comfortably for a long trip in a class seat unless you want to keep your knees together I can go on and on about the benefits of a class A

@@lloydkurtz5873 Thx for the comment! We’ve also owned a Class A diesel pusher with air suspension and it had a quiet, smooth ride as the engine was in the back of the rig. We feel the Class C gas may have a similar ride to the Class A gas (depending on the length) but it will be a bit quieter with less vibration because you’re not sitting on the engine. I agree that air suspension is superior to the spring, but the Class C we have is only 24.5’ in length and the ride is not too bad with the spring suspension. Thanks for watching!

Thank you so much. We are enjoying it so far. We started out with a 40ft diesel pusher Fleetwood Discovery LXE 40-M which we loved but it was too big, we then bought a travel trailer, nice but we then decided we wanted something with an engine, so in March we bought a Forest River 22-N, so far so good. This was all since 2020. I think we got it just right this time, hopefully 😂LOL

I'm planning a trip to Miami and Port Canaveral September 2025 to see the ICON in Miami and the STAR in Port Canaveral. Everything else will be a nice bonus! Is it pretty easy to get in and out of Jetty Park? I don't have a RV, so any recommendations on places to stay close to the park?

@@stuartmassengale3955 Thanks for the comment! We will be looking for the SOTS too. Getting in and out of Jetty park is easy you just follow the signs. It does cost $15 per car to get in. There are several new close by hotels that we can recommend…Homewood Suites Cape Canaveral and Townplace Suites Cape Canaveral. Have fun!

I’ve been on the Voyager, I believe it was back in 2000, it was a nice ship back then. I believe it was refit in 2019. I just love Royal Caribbean. 😊 I am interested in seeing their newest ship “Star of the Sea’s” when it makes its debut next summer.

It was an unbelievable sight, we loved the horns and the fireboats serenade!

River cruises are very nice, we might look into cruising on one soon. Thank you for your comment. As a new channel we are definitely open to suggestions. 😊

@@TA_Sea_RV there are a number of river cruises available. One is on the "Twilight" riverboat, cruise, overnight stay at hotel, cruise back the next day. On the Mississippi. I haven't tried it yet. Something new around every bend, other river traffic to observe.
