​@@reneetuttle1593oh cool I haven't seen his yet, 5th scale was probably way easier pulling then a 10th scale. Our dollar general is almost exactly 1mile away from the house so I wanted to see if my truck could even make it there pulling me on a scooter and turned out to be a lot of fun😅

The whole top intake assembly has to come out definitely not an easy job take your time to make sure you get all the hose clamps/plugs and bolts before trying to pull it off some of that plastic intake can be very brittle.

The throttle body will fit where the rubber hose was. You'll need clean the throttle body and I cleaned my intake. I used painters tape to mark all the hoses I took off. You'll also need a throttle body gasket if you take it loose. I'm getting ready to put new wires and rear plugs in mine also and check the coil for cracks. It takes about 2 hours for the cowl and intake. Be sure to install the water fix for your PCM and check the cowl drain. One of my great neighbors took a cheater bar I was using on the brakes and hit my intake. It busted the glued joint and made it run like crap. I pulled in my tire shop and the 3 shade trees showed it to me. I had just replaced the EGR valve that he said was a b_, so mine was easy to get off, but those 2 bolts and pipe fitting are fun. I put copper thread antiseize on before assembly.
