could you please ellaborate how the shaking transfer to the harness? because I udnerstand you ass and back feeling it, but could you notice a different feeling when flying harness on and off? i am a long time shaker user, so it´s plenty interesting. both my simracing and flight sim rigs got harness, but just for decoration. Enjoy!!

Amazing innovation. I have been torn as to dedicate myself to a traditional HOTAS / sim pit with monotors. That is great but it really falls short when introducing VR, and VR is where my intrest lies. Because of your videos I know exactly what direction I am going. My son is a highly adept computer savy tech guy, currently a VP in charge of ATM hadware and application integration for a global banking system. He can handle technology integration. Im a 30 year aurcraft mechanic and can handle tge build. Before ya know it each of my three sons and myself will all be flying identical rigs and gaming from our homes as we do already. Nedless to say I am excited to get started here in Texas. Thanks again for the ideas.

Still having fun with your homebrew simrig and its still amazing to watch. For the hand tracking in cockpit, do you run any software for that or is it native to DCS? I have the Pimax Crystal Light with the hand controllers and just bought some official DCS modules and would love to use hand tracking in the cockpit and still use my Winwing HOTAS setup. 👍

in vr with the vr hands how can you grab both of the throttles in the su25t at once? because i keep only grabbing one of them and i dont want to use both of my hands to control throttle.

Good idea. I'd probably put the bag inside it and fold the top over, though, so it doesn't get dirty. I like this idea.

Hello Hello, greetings from Poland. I really like your solution, I also have Quest 3s. I have a question, you don't know if the system works for the Su 30 new mod, because it doesn't work for me and for the Su 33 on which the mod is based, gripping the stick and throttle works.

It has this feel like, "Hey, looky here, we did something..." You can set only one fog and it infects the whole map. I guess it's good that DCS World is just a name. As you've said, you fly without clouds. Well, if you have clouds, then you'll notice that when the fog is in the shadow of a cloud it's easier to see through it than the same fog in full sunlight. I guess, the shade dissipates water particles or something - physics is hard.

5:50 Using a stock joystick with a 3-4 inch shaft will just not perform as well as having a flight stick with a 12-18 inch shaft. Same goes for the throttle (collective) axis. So much better control is able to be had with a throttle (collective) axis that moves 6 inches vs one the travels 1 inch. If you are using a stock joystick, don't fret if fine controls are really difficult for you. It's not you! For me, VR makes all the difference in the world. Things I struggle with on a monitor are so easy in VR. That just comes down to spatial awareness that you simply cannot get on a 2D monitor. Again if you can't stick the landing, chances are, it's not you.

I tried making various cyclics and collectives from all sorts of joystick parts but I never tried (or even thought of) a setup like you have here, which works perfectly it seems. I bit the bullet a few months ago and got the VIRPIL TCS Plus Base collective with the Hawk-60 grip, I mainly fly B206/MD500 in MSFS and X-Plane 12 and UH-1/Mi-24P in DCS. Although costing over £500 it was well worth the money - solid build with quality components and great support. I really need to give this a go though, I can't believe this works as well as it does, and it was so obvious!!! You know what? You really need to patent this concept before someone else steals it and claims it for their own.
