I have tried the wind mage build w/enemy skills but keep getting killed by Bahamut or Odin. I lost count how many attempts. Lol. Wanted to wait to complete hard mode to get that platinum after final boss rush but that ended up being easier than this for me. Haha. I like how lightning hits quicker. Def gonna practice this build until I get it done! Thanks for posting!

@@psise1 yeah their effectiveness is similar but lightning hits quicker than wind that's why I use it for speedrunning, plus the vast majority of the enemies in both Bonds of Friendship and To Be a Hero are weak to lightning or wind. @@troygrant8578 nah you don’t have to be sorry, I totally understand how frustrating games can get. Rebirth happens to be easy for me but that doesn’t mean anything. Keep trying and you’ll eventually beat this :) but I can clear it for you if you want, I’ve already helped dozens of ppl so no big deal

@yozora- your gameplay is insane , I only had a problem on Odin. I beat it after my last comment . I did what you said and rushed him down didn't let him get any offense off .... he was kinda easy with that strategy lmao

@@andriwijaya509 yh lol i’ve been doing it since march🤣 No, you don’t need Ps Plus. You just syncronize your save files to the cloud (you go on FFVII Rebirth app and select the second option), then I send you a QR code, you scan it, I download your save files, beat the challenge, reupload the save files and log out from your account. It’s easy, safe and fast, and I don’t need email or password or anything

@@awesome1800 hi, here’s the build: Rune Blade / Cetran Bracer / Genji Gloves Swiftcast+Fire, Magic Focus+Fire&Ice, MP Absorption+Fire HP Absorption+Fire, Elemental+Fire, First Strike, ATB Boost, Magic up, Enemy Skill (Phoenix Materia) ATB Charge Rate Up, Magic Attack Power +20, Full-Power Magic, Improved Punisher As far as why they are all vulnerable to fire, well, the fact is only Gilgamesh and Sephi first phase are, the rest of the summons have just lower health pools than their legendary bouts counterparts so hitting them with fully buffed spells (while you got genji gloves equipped) will do a huge damage to them. Some summons do have weaknesses (for example Phoenix = Ice, Titan = Wind, Alexander = Lightning) but it isn’t rlly necessary to use those to clear this

@@yozora- thanks a lot. I did use the elemental + fire and wind + hp absorb. I started yesterday for the first time, fought with Odin twice... But then he 1 shot me twice, and it's not even with Zantetsuken 🤣

@@bfiliatreault Odin is extremely easy once you get used to his patterns, trust me! Just rush him down like I do and he won’t be able to do anything👍🏻

@@yozora- Sephiroth's parry and Aura moves, Zack's charge meter, etc. It's so much more effective to just cheese everything with magic and it's kind of a shame.

​@Bobb11881 using magic isn't cheese, it's being implemented exactly as the game intended. The materia and accessories have to be set up very specifically, which is another focal point of the game's mechanics. Using prime mode to attack and block to build up atb and berserk mode is also a mechanic being well utilized. The reason why Zach and Sephiroth don't get as much focus for their specific mechanics is because they are uncustomizable, so they are best at playing support to Cloud, the character with higher damage potential. Solo runs can be performed with just Zach or Sephiroth if you really wanna focus on their mechanics. (Although Zach is stupidly hard)

in order to unlock Bonds of Friendship (and To Be a Hero too) you have to clear all the other legendary solo bouts and craft the corsair’s compass

@@yozora- I ended up copying your strategies and managed to do it myself I had been playing too passively once I started playing more aggressively things became easier I made some adjustments but thanks to your vids I was able to do it thanks again!
