If you made sure to hold ZL and ZR for the full duration of round 1 making sure to start holding the buttons a bit before the round started and if you made sure that you did not throw the die manually and let the timer run out autimatically throwing the die. The first die roll should've been Goomba and will always be Goomba in that setting. I did not have any inconsistencies with that. Please try again and reply to this comment if you end up not getting it.

Once I saw a duplicate, I didn't explore that particular path further as all branching paths from there would have at least one duplicate. So, I did try every possible combination that had the possibility of rolling 5 different symbols, yes.

So, there are three main reasons why this video doesn't have many views. The first is that this game is somewhat old. The Nintendo Switch had already been released when I made this video. The second is that if someone wanted to know about good tricks and exploits, they might not find this video since I haven't advertised it well in all the best places. The third is that I don't have many subscribers and this video doesn't have many likes, comments, or views, so it is not likely to show up on search results. The trick I describe in the video absolutely does work, and you can try it out for yourself.

Alright. On each round, you may either, do nothing, or, hold ZL and ZR for the full round. If my sheet states "N", that means that you should do nothing for that round. If my sheet states "Y", that means that you should hold ZL and ZR for the full round. When my sheet says "YNNNY", that means that, on the first round, you should hold ZL and ZR for the full round; on the second round, you should do nothing; on the third round, you should do nothing; on the fourth round, you should do nothing; on the final round, you should hold ZL and ZR for the full round. In this example, if you successfully did that, the only symbol that you wouldn't have hit would be Cheep Cheep. I hope this makes sense to you. Although skipping that downward wall jumping section does put you about a second ahead, it doesn't usually save a second because if you play through the level mostly optimally, you will end up having to wait at the ending platforms for the cycle. My tutorial level is only 0.46 seconds behind the All Music Notes Tutorial World Record. The reason that I don't choose to skip the downward wall jumping section is that it is incredibly difficult, and I haven't even come close to getting it consistent.

The hidden achievements are not required for the All Music Notes speedrun; however, I do know what they are and how to do them. There are five hidden achievements: "Cheater!", "What a speedrunner!", "It's a bird! It's a plane! It's supercube!", "They can't reach you!", and "Day 146 among them, no one suspects a thing..." "Cheater!": You must complete Level 8 without dying. "What a speedunner!": You must complete Level 8 in less than 2;40.00 (2 minutes and 40 seconds) "It's a bird! It's a plane! It's supercube!": Get the last music note in Level 6 (You can see this done in the video at 12:26) "They can't reach you!": Go on top of the spikes that close in at Level 6. The spot can be seen at 12:10 in the video. All you need to do is to trigger the spikes and, then, to jump to the left to avoid the spikes. Afterwards, go back to the gravity switch that turns gravity upwards. Then, go to the right to get on top of the spikes that have closed in. "Day 146 among them, no one suspects a thing...": All you need to do is go to the right most spot next to the spikes in an early part of Level 4. This spot is visible at 7:27 in the video. Just jump into that spot and you will get the achievement. I have been considering doing an all achievements speedrun but I have not decided to yet.
