i was in smylum from 1957 -1964. i remember sammy carr.we were friends.i remember in smylum they had a chicken coop.i remember sammy finding a dead rat.he through it at me ,i through it back to him.the rat could have not been dead a long time.covered in maggots..sammy put the dead rat in his mouth.my understanding that was the main cause of his death.
