Willow Branch Farm
United States
เข้าร่วมเมื่อ 11 มี.ค. 2023
My name is David, I have a farm in west Tennessee. I operate a small herd of beef cows and Pygmy goats. My goal is to film daily operations on the farm and show the reviving of a 70 + year farm started by my great grandparents.
I am somewhat familiar with filming and creating content, I ran a waterfowl hunting show called Vertical Desent Outdoors. You can check out that channel on TH-cam if interested.

I know y’all are going to really miss your Mamaw. I will certainly keep all of you in my prayers and in time to come may many wonderful happy memories help fill some of the empty places left in your hearts. Yes, by all means spend as much time as you can with Kase and your grown boys and grandchildren as well as your parents and grandparents. Time does go by so fast before we stop to realize our life is just a vapor. I used to think people in their 60’s were old and I still do but now I’m one of them! lol I held my breath as you peeled that tarp back and by the way, that was some pretty good acrobatics climbing those hay bales. There was a time when you could take people at their word that if they told you they’d do something they actually showed up. It’s sad that most of the time it’s not that way anymore but you have to give them the benefit of the doubt because you never know what’s going on in others lives. Sounds like you fertilized your hayfields really well and it paid off. That’s great that you’ve already got pretty much what you’re going to need off the first cutting and yes the round bales do look pretty lined up. I like to see a square bales stacked in a barn neatly too. My goodness gracious those steaks looked delicious and I’m sure they were. Those jalapeño egg rolls sounded mighty good too!
I’ll be doing square bales next time, when it’s good and hot lol and the steaks were delicious and the jalapeño egg rolls were also good. I’ll definitely make them again! Hope you’re doing well and staying good and cool in these HOT days ahead. Your right the money spent on fertilizer was money well spent!
David I lost both of my parents the same year mom in May dad in October 3 years ago
Oh man that had to have been tough! Couldn’t imagine losing one much less both in the same year.
@@willowbranchfarm do u bring the john deere to the bottom here
@@jeffrichardson5828 actually that was one of the reasons for buying a compact tractor, I’ve had it there several times bush hogging and for cleaning up etc. I also mow my yard with it (nice with the A/C on those hot days) guess I’m getting soft in my old age 😂
So thankful you got the first cutting finished without any major machinery problems and even more thankful that the air conditioner held up until you could get through. I really enjoyed this video since I’ve never seen up close how the round balers work. We always used the square bales. Always great to see Kase helping out. 😊
It’s always a good day if nothing breaks! The second cutting I’ll be breaking out the square baler, but I really like the round baler. Kase definitely loves riding the tractor.
Good job Kase, way to go! 🐟
Make one this winter in your duck hole
We are wet can't catch a break
I keep telling myself not to get be too mad at the rain, because we were awfully dry last year...but it sure can throw a monkey wrench in the mix when trying to make plans to do outside things. I finally got all my hay done during the dry spell last week.
Amen, none of us are promised another day yea, we are not even promised our next breath so if amends need to be made by all means make those amends, let your family and friends know that you truly do care and love them so you can rest with the assurance that you have made things right with all your family and brethren. I’m so thankful I came across one of your videos a little while back because by you sharing your experiences and your life on the farm it allows me the joy and pleasure of reflecting back on my past when I used to be able to do many of the same things you share. Oh such wonderful memories although at the time I didn’t realize just how precious those memories would become. You’re doing a wonderful thing by taking the time to make these videos not just for people such as myself to enjoy but more importantly so that years from now your family will be able to watch them and their hearts be filled with happiness, joy and love and most likely some laughs along the way. 😊 Before I go I want to say how sorry I am about the loss of your dear Grandmother. I have sweet memories of her and though she will be missed tremendously y’all no doubt have countless happy memories to help fill some of the empty places left in your hearts by her absence. Above all you have the blessed assurance that she’s not suffering anymore and that you will be with her again someday never to be separated again. She’s now reaping the many rewards she worked for and earned!
Thanks so much for your kind words, we will miss her dearly, but we know for sure she is in a better place now. And thanks as always for watching, it makes the time it takes to make these videos worth it.
That's neat! ❤
Is that a Boykin spaniel?
You are correct. Have had Chesapeake’s the last 20 years. Wanted to try something new, training her to be a duck dog. Always kind of wanted a Boykin and after my chessie passed last year we decided to bite the bullet. She is extremely intelligent and picks up things so fast.
Very sweet and great with kids. They will out hunt 60-70 lb retrievers. Have used two.
Great video ❤❤❤
Thanks for watching!

Excellent video…👍
Appreciate you watching!
You’ve sure got a good looking garden and it don’t matter if it’s small, looks like it’s gonna yield quite a bit!
We say.."Hey, there's Hay!"
You’ve got some mighty big hayfields but with help from Kase and Ellie you’re in good shape. You sure lucked out with how close you came to finishing with the net wrap! Somebody usually cuts and bales the field beside my house but nothing’s been done yet. It’s not very good quality anyway. When I worked in the hayfields we only baled square bales. I wasn’t a very good stacker so I always had to take one side throwing bales on the trailer. It always scared the mess out of me when I got a bale with a 🐍! Sometimes they were dead and sometimes not. Oh how I wish my health was still good enough to do these things.
I was too skinny as a kid to chunk bales, so I always got to drive LOL! I have square baled that same field in the video and I am always cautious about picking up the ones next to that pond for fear of a nope rope being in or under one of the bales ha ha
Best looking helper I ever saw..❤
Cutie for sure!
Everybody needs a good helper and backseat driver like the one you’ve got. 💙
Best tractor riding buddy ever!
Nope, not today and probably not for a few more days at least.
Maybe he was working on some “easy as pie” mud pies! 😂
He certainly found them lol
@@willowbranchfarm 😂😂😂😂😂 Making good memories and learning hard lessons all at the same time.
Love that little man!
THIS IS ALLLL WHERE IT BEGINS... RIGHT THERE ❤❤❤❤❤❤❤😂😂😂😂😂😂
This is the way we all should live❤🕊for♾...i know a lot of human's who want to live like this.
Love hard workjng farners and passing that ability down to their kids. 😊
More feed please 😮
That was just the first feed bowl, there are 3 total.
That's awesome!!!
Good job kiddo ❤
I love to see Kase and hear him chattering away, he’s such a sweetheart. It was kinda sad watching them take their last drink of water but oh my goodness what some good eating! That’s a whole lotta fine beef that, like you said, you know where they came from and what they were fed. Y’all enjoy!
Thanks, Kase is a mess and makes life so much better! And I think this beef turned out great, my parents have already eaten some of their steaks and said it taste awesome!
Oh my, those frog legs look delicious!
They were!
Hello, Are you interested in testing our products? We would like to invite you to test the Camo Seat Cover for your Polaris Ranger 1000( if your are year is 2018-2023)
Been out of pocket for a week, just seeing this. Can you send me more info, my email is blackcloud2shot@yahoo.com
So thankful you got your fertilizer out before the rain.
So good to see Gary out there helping, please tell him and your Mama I said hello. I’m sure proud for you that the steers brought some good money and you were able to fertilize your hay so it will grow and yield some high quality hay and also glad you were able to get your New Holland in good shape for hay season. Don’t feel bad about leaving a gate open, I’ve seen it happen lots of times and might possibly have been the guilty party a few times.😂 Keeping sweet little Kase in my prayers and hope he feels better real soon.
Thank you, I will tell them hello for sure! And thanks for your prayers and thinking about Kase, I only wish we bounced back as quick as little kids do! And that’s not the first time I’ve forgotten to close the head gate and probably not the last 😂
Llaman procesador??? No es mas que otra palabra de llamar al Matadero. Te da dinero.
As someone who grew up on a farm but is now trying my hand at it myself I learned there’s no room for I’ll get it tomorrow. You can sit on your ass when it’s raining lol.
One bad day. That’s all I hope my cattle have. I’d like to have that kinda life lol.
I like that one I’ll have to remember it!
I have the XP model, full cab, heat, pwr windows, I wouldn't trade for anything. Like you I use mine every day. I sometimes think maybe I should have gotten the SOHC like yers. Mine has way more power than I use 99% of the time. Once in a blue moon I show off a little to my hunting buddies & floor it on a hunting trail, not much though. I have 7000 trouble free mi on mine so far.
One of the best investments I've made for sure, LOVE mine and hope it serves me well for many years to come! Glad to hear yours has been good to you also!
So peaceful on the back of a calm gentle horse out in the wide open spaces.
lol it looks like its pooping hay
LOL, my son watched the video and said the exact same thing!
I hate those turds
Love seeing Kase giving his tractor a bath too. 😊
Really good helper you have❤
I had a couple of that style of weed eaters many years ago but they were a smaller model. 😂
Kaseman on the job. Was he trying to do a bass pro hat shot?❤
He was tying to get sponsored by Bass Pro I think LOL
Great review👍 that is a nice looking machine
Thanks! I've LOVE my Ranger for sure.
Great job filming Kase, it’s always a treat to see him! With all those fat mice watch out for snakes. Gonna miss the sweet baby goats.
Don’t say the S word, I don’t do snakes lol
😂😂😂I don’t do well with snakes either, they cause me to say things I have to repent and ask forgiveness for!
I am a fan of cows!
♥️♥️♥️
Great video. I looked at these and can am. I leaning towards aodes workcross hvac. For 26k and you get everything including hvac and better warranty. But I enjoyed the video and have fun out there!
Thanks for watching. I hadn’t heard of those but just looked them up. Look pretty nice!
They just came out 4 months ago, I just don't have the budget for polaris or can am. Thanks for the reply and I subbed
One of if not the best ways to clear your mind.
Sure does make you forget about a rough day at work or what ever is on your mind. Need to make it a priority to ride more and Kase loves to ride with me!
That's what I call peace.❤
For sure!
please wear gloves
Happy Birthday! Hope you enjoy a wonderful and blessed day and may God continue to bless you richly every day in the next year. I didn’t know our birthdays were so close together. Lots of good people born in March! lol
