Honestly all of these fights would be over before you even visually made contact… the F-35 is a monster… the AIM-120 missile can engage at 100 miles but the F-35 can see you at 150.

u can barely ever enjoy yourself in the Heli. BF2042 has FAR too much AA. Every person basically uses some form of AA whether handheld or vehicle or laser. IT ruins it. The fact that you didnt get locked on nonstop within seconds secpially on that map is rare

to me BFs biggest problem is what the current top comment is: A regular pilot is useless, and a god pilot will have a KDA of 127. Let me elaborate: the fact that a regular pilot will get shut down immediately, but a skilled pilot basically cannot be taken down (by surface to air means and only by another god pilot) has been a problem for such a crazy long time. The reality should be somewhere more in the middle. I'm an anti-air guy in the military, and let me tell you, pilot skill expression does not let them fly over anti air measures permanently killing 100s and 100s lmao. The only person having fun this game is this guy. No one else is. The sole reason I don't play CQ and the bigger game modes is bc if u dont roll the team with the better pilot you cannot have fun in tanks or as infantry. The risk-reward ratio of being a skilled pilot is way too low.

Hey are you playing with a hotas? I have the x56 logitech hotas but when I load up 2042 my turrets in the tanks etc spin uncontrollably until i unplug my hotas. Any suggestions?
