Great video. This is the smae layout i predicted for me. The layout helps make the ball very versatile. 4.5" Pin to Pap helps enforce a medium flare while the 4" Pin to COG(2LS) slightly raises the differential. Like you said, if you can make changes with your hand you could do alot. I see this being a GOAT for me. #OneBallDoesAll

The Hammer Effect bowling balls seem to be more controllable and versatile than a lot of other bowling balls that's been released lately. Hammer has done a good job with what they've created in the last year or so. I would love to see the bowling brands create more solids but, more for games 2 and 3. Usually the pearls are too much on the back-end and the solids are too strong to use later. But, if you have a Hammer Effect, getting this ball will definitely compliment each other. Kind of how the Phaze 2 and Phaze A.I. compliment each other. Thanks for the review, very nice!

You’re looking at a weaker cover than the Envy Tour, but a much bigger core than the Envy Tour. In fact, the core/cover combination are reversed; the Envy Tour had the Envy Tour cover, but the Obsession Tour cover. The Effect Tour has the Huntsman core (much bigger), but the TourVx cover, which the TourV1 was on the Web Tour and Web Tour Hybrid, and the TourV2 cover being on the Obsession Tour. So because of the core/cover combos, you’re getting different shapes.

I've never used any Hammer bowling balls but, i am interested in the Hammer Effect and the Envy series. Looks like this ball would be good for tournament play versus house. What do you think?

I ordered the ball as soon as it dropped because I LOVED the Rattler solid so much. I have not been disappointed with the Deadly Rattler. The ball really reacts to friction and changes direction without being too angular to the pocket. Great job on your demo!
