I've heard before that VIA Tankist later became Kaskad, is that true?
Correct,The name Tankists comes from the fact a chief of staff gave the group a tank suit(overalls) as a new years gift. This is recorder in 1982, in 1983 a lot of members where deomobs so the group changed some of its memmbers. . Somone wrote cascade on a casette with their songs around that time and the group allegedly stuck with it ever since. Thanks for watching as allways Roland!
