    great video but you need vapor barrier on the steel otherwise the Iso will be full of mold. i riped a roof like that and the Iso was moldy.

      @@sorinmoraru8310 there are a lot factors that go into building a roof system, mainly zone and interior climate. In this case in the zone we are in, it was not needed and we have to go by the manufacturers guidelines to receive the NDL (labor and material) warranty from the manufacturer. In a cooler region with the same system, it might have been required.

    Please keep in mind we are professional roofing company. NOT a professional marketing company that sells roofing. Be kind, LOL I wrote, produced, edited and filmed this with no professional help. Since editing, I bought a microphone to help with overall better sound with the winds, vents and airplane sound wouldn't need to be removed.

    Assuming this is a rubber roof on the parapet wall are you filling the gap between the insulation and overhang?

    • @360Innovations

      Yes the TPO cap sheet will go over the top of the parapet wall then capped off with metal coping

      The greatest value in all of roofing is a 40yr class III shingle that's cheap, attractive and virtually indestructible from hail damage. Malarkey Vista to me is the best value dollar for dollar

    Nice work! But I got a question. Why did you not put a metal roof on the flat roof?

    • @360Innovations
      @360Innovations ปีที่แล้ว

      On flat roofs, we typically apply TPO or Modified Bitumen,. That area did not have enough pitch to apply a roof with seams in it that rely on gravity to keep water from flooding up to the height of the seam. Sorry I just saw your comment and am just now replying to it.

    • @traceyjscott069
      @traceyjscott069 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@360Innovations it's really not that hard to add pitch to a flat roof with a little bit of insulation or furring and create a quarter 12 pitch and put a low pitch metal roof down. It's just about being able to sell it to the customer. And convincing them to invest the extra money for the for the metal. I can put metal on ANYTHING!

    • @360Innovations
      @360Innovations ปีที่แล้ว

      @@traceyjscott069 well, they were over their original budget going with metal instead of shingles in the first place. Also there was a drain on the flat roof they would have to cancel and then reroute once that was not needed and just more expense they didn't want to deal with. But it all worked out. Thanks for the idea though. I'll check out your work on your page.

      I've installed this product several times.It is a great product.We did several large projects.The only thing I disagree with in the video is the use of ice guard on the ridges.The ice and water will fail over time.I would recommend aluminum under the caps bent to proper pitch,than installing the hip and ridge caps.Although I know with the beleforte synthetic slate by davinci they make actual caps that are completely closed.I highly recommend this roof for looks and durability.The roof looks great.

    • @360Innovations

      Our 1st synthetic slate job was for a city parks project 10yrs ago. Since then we've seen a lot of products come and go. Davinci holds up over time and I cannot recommend it enough. We've even been a part of unbiased engineer testing and the findings were amazing in comparison to other synthetics.
