It’s not really a fair comparison considering Husky made noticeable changes to their 2017 model. Not saying it’s better or worse but you should do Apple’s to Apple’s. If they were both a year older (2018-KTM and 2017-Husky) then it would’ve been closer as they were just refinement’s.
How many miles of single track do they have at Mountain Ridge? Looks like a good mix of terrain with some challenging spots.
I’m not positive on the mileage exactly but there is 20+ miles at a minimum spread throughout the property. Fairly technical terrain but definitely recommend this property if you’re looking for single track! Can ask for a map and directions to single track when you sign up in the morning.
Like watching a pensioner ride a dirt bike! Driving Miss Daisy springs to mind! Ha ha

Appreciate you watching! I use a GoPro Hero 7 Black and shoot on 2.7k, 30fps, and super view. Great mix between quality and battery life!

Yeah good idea! I used the USWE action camera harness system with my hydration pack which mounts the camera on the chest. First try with the new setup and it worked out well
Thanks for the vid. That section after 52:00 sure made the morning session look like a walk in the park. I take it that was the "afternoon only" trail. Good riding 👍
Glad you enjoyed it! Believe it or not I think that section was in the morning race as well but after too many riders the section was almost impossible! They routed us around after lap 2

Thanks! The race was in Newburg, WV at CJ Raceway. I believe they hold an NECXC race there each year as well.

You may be able to see in the video, but it's near the parking area not far at all from the main building where you sign in. The video begins near the short 1 mile kid loop for reference.

Nice job I did the race too and I was confused at the start were everyone went the wrong way but the trail went left
