Hi everyone, and welcome to my channel. I love making things by hand and sometimes with the use of a machine or gadget. Just to name a few of my interests; I enjoy fiber related crafts, cooking, gardening, sewing, bird watching, and diy projects, and the list goes on. Sharing what I'm up to with friends and family has always been fun, and I'd like to invite you to come along with me and see what I get up to next. You never know what that might be from one day to another.

An evening at the home place, Oct. 8th, 2024 # coyotes # sourdough update # Reading of Psalm 23
I haven't recorded a walk in a while, so why not do that this evening. Listen to this nearby pack of coyotes. Shortly after the coyotes quiet down, I'll feed my starter and give you an update on what I've been doing with Pearl. At the end of the video, I felt inspired to read the 23rd Psalm.

I can tell when fall is on the way by when our walnut tree leaves start turning yellow. Hope you squash make; we considered a late season planting but we needed the bed for something else.
Hello. Thanks for sharing with us. It's the Poplar trees around here, then the Persimmon trees and after them the Maples.
Hello! With your tender loving care I am sure the beets will do fine. Your squash is coming along nicely. The trees here are sure changing color, we have a windy day and they are sure falling. Hope you have a blessed day.🙏🙏
@@sylviahudell2171 aw, thank you. You are so kind.
Stumbled across this video and loved it thanks for sharing!! I vote for Bertha.
Hello, and welcome! Hey, thank you for watching, commenting, and voting.
How about Bertha Pearl😊
lol...I hadn't thought of that! Cute.
How much starter did u have before you fed it?
At the time of this video, I was following a no discard recipe. This recipe does not say to weigh the starter before feeding it, and you simply add the same amount of flour and water each day. Feeding amounts remain the same each day and do not increase. On day one, 50 grams flour and 50 grams water. I hope this answers your question.
@@Onemorehobby-AND-homemaking New subscriber. I don't know why I can't comment so here I am 😂 where did you get your silicone-tip spoon? You're creating/building a starter. Mine is already an established starter. I basically use a similar method but use a clean jar adding equal parts starter 6 oz and 3 oz each flour and water discarding the remaining starter. I use ORGANIC rye flour (as there are considerably more natural yeasts in rye flour) and only feed it once every few weeks.
@@Onemorehobby-AND-homemaking thank you
I look forward everyday to see what you have been up too!
Thank you, and thank you for your comments and for watching too. 🩷

Hello! The morning glory flower is beautiful. They open up in the morning and close in the afternoon. They have a very fitting name. Thanks for sharing.❤️❤️
What is this guy doing ?
I grew some broccoli plants for Fall, I have never planted for the Fall before so it should be interesting hehe, I find that if I wet my soil before I fill my pots, it's a little easier than dry soil , I am subscribing, can't wait to see how your Fall baby plants turn out.
@shweetpotato Hello Sweet Potato and welcome! It's fantastic that you are trying broccoli plants this year. I hope they do well for you. I remember the first time I grew broccoli. I was so excited to harvest it when it came time, and it was so delicious. lol... I haven't tried to grow it in the fall. The last time I bought plants and tried to grow them in the spring, they didn't make anything. I have hopes for this fall, though.
Hello! The butterfly 🦋 and bumble bee 🐝 are enjoying the beautiful flowers. Very soothing music 🎵.
@sylviahudell2171 Thank you, Sylvia. 🩷

Thanks for taking us on your morning walk, beautiful day. Sorry about the deer they are such a beautiful animal.💕
I'm so sorry about the deer.
trying to learn the voice over thing as well, just started my own channel any tips you have I would gladly receive them 😸
Hello and welcome. Thanks so much for watching, and best wishes to you on your TH-cam adventure. I honestly don't think I have any tips, as I am just sort of figuring it out as I go. However, I am aware that some who do voiceovers write a script and read it. I guess it would take some practice not to sound like you're reading to someone but speaking as in a normal conversation. You probably know all this already, but just in case. I did not write a script but watched the video and just tried to speak about what I was doing in the video.
@@Onemorehobby-AND-homemaking ❤️ thanks so much
