He was so fucking talented. Only a handful of players had more talent then kovalev. The guy literally did everything skills wise at an elite level. His intensity was nowhere to be found most nights but pure skill you can count on one hand players that had more skill then him.
The best handle to ever play in this league , i was blessed enough to be able to see him here in montreal. He reminds me of ronaldinho , not the greatest but the best at what he does.
People would come early af just to watch him warm up as he would shoot the puck against the post several times in a row and just handle the puck around really well and smoothly.
Uhhhhhh.... Rocket Richard first player to score 50 in 50, Lafleur six 50-goal seasons (in a row, no less), Pocket Rocket 11 Cups, Béliveau 10 Cups, Cournoyer 10 Cups.... ...and Kovalev is suddenly the greatest player in Habs history?? Without a doubt, one of the most talented players I've ever seen, and quite possibly the best puck-handler I've ever seen... but by no mean would he be considered greatest player in Habs or hockey history. Those blinders manorrd is wearing must be huge!!

Is hockey even worth watching without Kovalev?
ONE OF MY IDOLS
Kovalev-Markov on the powerplay was the most gangster combination
damn that was nice
Magic hands. Miss watching him play.
Last real (good) sniper that played for CH
Next, you should do the clip of when Mike Keenan kept him on the ice for almost a whole period and he scores at the end.
What a great playmaker Markov was
7:26 when he made such an habit of scoring every time he do this that the commentator is unable to act like he is surprised anymore
