I agree the city need to be convinced that the Runners are San Antonio's team. We need a better partnership with them. I don't think the administration is putting enough pressure on the city to help find ways to get the money to build war chest.

One marketing angle I haven't seen is going after the fans from other American conf teams . SA is a destination city. Do a package deal with hotels to get the dome filled with people. It'll create a great atmosphere.

I don't know why you are talking up Marburger at all. Marburger has shown no consistency or ability to expand or even use the playbook, relying almost entirely on screens and short comeback routes. Outside of the hail mary and a crazy blown coverage, he was mediocre in the Army game. (Example: In the first half, prior to last drive, excluding YAC, he had ~13 passing yards. Most of his passes were completed at, or behind, the line of scrimmage. The only passing yardage he actually gained was the last drive of the first half, with Army in a super soft zone/prevent, trying to keep us short and/or in bounds (which they did…) The Hail Mary was pure luck. ) Don’t even start with the Tennessee game. Marburger may have some promise in the distant future, but doesn’t deserve mention for the starting or number two job after the way McCown played.

Man I feel this podcast was severely needed for UTSA. This looks and feels professional and the takes are great straight forward.
